Sirius Black was bold but his audacity right now shocked even Regulus. All he could do was blink, as he repeated his brother's words back, "Long time, no see?"

To this, Sirius merely shrugged, "It's true, isn't it? Last time I saw you was before we broke up for Easter - "

Not wanting to play games, Regulus snapped, "Let's cut to the chase, what do you want?" His voice lowered, "You wouldn't come back to this place unless you really needed to."

"Maybe I just wanted to chat, catch up with my favorite brother..." Sirius began but trailed off, smirking as he saw Regulus's gaze, "You know, you could at least pretend to be a bit happier to see me. As a rule, people generally want to help you if you smile. Nobody wants to be around someone who's gloomy all the time."

He continued to stand there, face unchanged despite Sirius's words. The wind whipped around his face, small strands of hair obscuring his vision. The dramatic in Regulus secretly really liked this - not that he'd let his vicious prick of a brother know.

"Well, you're here so clearly I need to try harder," He took a step closer, repeating his question, "What do you want?"

"I have a confession."

"You were the one who really planted the explosive at the meetings and manipulated Georgie into taking the blame?"

Sirius paused before smirking, "Alright, in that case, I don't have a confession to make."

"Brilliant," Regulus moved back a little, pulling his coat around himself a little tighter, "This has been an enlightening conversation but I'm going to leave if you don't mind - "

"Did she tell you what I said?" There was a sudden desperation in Sirius's eyes, quickly mask once more by the cool facade he pressed so hard for the masses.

His eyes narrowed, "What do you mean?"

"When I asked her to take the blame, did she pass on what I said?"

"Did you tell her about the stars?"

Sirius's eyes lit up, "So she did tell you - "

"Not directly. She never even mentioned you two had spoken but I could tell. One day she just randomly told me which star was the brightest and the constellation of Aquila. I doubt anyone else in the school besides us was taught astronomy instead of bedtime stories."

A look of confusion was on his brother's face, "I was certain she'd tell you. She doesn't seem like the best at keeping secrets."
