< Colby's POV >

"Hi!" I exclaimed, letting Sam into the house. His eyes were bright blue, his light pink lips perky and curved into a smile. He had changed into a white T-shirt and blue skinny jeans, completely different from what he was wearing before.
"Hey," he grinned, walking in as I let him in. I lead him into the kitchen, sitting down at the grey marble breakfast bar. Well, it was supposed to be a breakfast bar, but I'd kind of made it into an alcohol bar. I had all sorts on here, a wide variety. I liked drinking, it made me feel better and forget about everything. Although the amount of times I've woken up with a terrible hangover-I've lost count.
"What drink d'ya want?" I asked, gesturing to the many bottles on my countertop.
"I'll have a whiskey please," he smiled. I swear, that smile could've made me melt.
"Coming right up," I joked, making Sam laugh. Jesus, it was angelic. I poured both of us a whiskey, sliding his over to him,
"Tell me about yourself," I grinned stupidly as I took a sip of my whiskey.
"I'm 21, from Kansas, I've got like no friends or family here in LA, I'm g-gay, I have a brother and a sister and I'm single," he looked up at me at the last part.
"I'm 22, also from Kansas, I've got quite a few friends here, I wanna be friends with you to be honest, you seem pretty cool, I'm gay as well, I have one brother and I'm also single," I grinned at him, fixing my nose piercing from the inside.
"I'll keep note of that," he showed that beautiful smile, taking a sip of his drink.
"Keep note of what?" I asked.
"You'll see," he laughed, drinking a little more.
"Tell me," I pleaded, wanting to know.
"You'll see," he grinned, now almost finished his glass of whiskey. I sighed and drank the rest of mine in one, long gulp. I opened my eyes, seeing Sam with a grin on his face.
"What're you grinning at?" I asked, taking a long look at his facial features. His nose was perfect. His eyes were perfect. His lips-don't get me started on his lips. Everything about this guy was perfect.
"Nothing," he blushed and looked back down, drinking the rest of his drink.
"You're very secretive, Sam," I laughed, looking at his rosy cheeks.
"That's me," he laughed with me, looking me dead in the eye. His Pacific Ocean blue eyes collided with my Atlantic Ocean blue eyes, blue on blue.

The next few hours were a blur. I asked if he wanted to watch a movie. He agreed. We watched The Shining. He fell asleep. I woke him up. He asked if he could stay the night. I said yes. I went upstairs to bed. I woke up and he was still on the sofa asleep. I woke him up again. We went to his house to unpack.
