Best friends. That's what they are. They've bonded for many years that they've considered each other family. To Lisa, a once cold and distant South Korea turned into a second home. A warm place, bearable because of her members. She's grateful. Very thankful of the three people who she considers very very important in her life. They were there in every struggle and success. They are her partners. She can't be thankful enough.
Lisa was taking a shower when she heard a knock on her room. "Lisaya!"
"I'm taking a shower!" She answered. The knock stopped, and she heard her door open. The person is inside her room now.
Lisa quickly finished her shower and wore her robe. She peeked outside only to see Jennie sitting on her bed. A red tint rose from Lisa's cheek. Lisa liked her Unnie, but it seems that Jennie is innocent to all of her advances. 'Just like all the past years.' Lisa sighed at her thought.
Yes, Lisa has a huge crush on the older girl. She had ever since she first met her. She'd been showing her her feelings through the only thing she knows, teasing.
Lisa is a very expressive person, optimistic, and she's confident in other's eyes, but what they don't know is, she's actually the opposite. Always laughing, being idiotic, bubbly, and confident is just a facade created not to deceive others, but to protect herself. Protect herself from herself. The self she learned to protect and keep away from anyone, enclosed in a thick shell to make sure she never experience the pain she felt that one time. She always laugh, thinking that if she thinks she's happy, then she could at least temporarily satiate the sadness lingering, always ready just waiting to attack.
In reality, she's an anxious girl behind a cool facade, teasing the only weapon she knows to express her feelings. She can't afford to get hurt else the only string left that's keeping her sane will snap.
Weak, she was. To be strong, she wishes.
"What is it unnie?" Lisa walked to her cabinet and chose her outfit for the day, pretending not to mind Jennie's presence.
"I wanted to ask why you call me Unnie whilst calling Jisoo, well um, Jisoo." Jennie tried to look at the younger girl, but Lisa had her back on Jennie.
"Well, I uh," Lisa scratched her neck, "Don't really know myself."
Jennie raised a brow.
"I mean, you just has this vibe, like you're more mature than any of us here. I don't mean it as a bad thing, of course, it's just that I find you umm like a sexy older sister kind of type, yet a cute little sister kind of type when you're being cute and all and yes? I'm weird. I don't even know what I'm talking about anymore." Lisa scratched her neck while pouting.
Jennie laughed wholeheartedly. She smiled catching her breathe and smirked.
"So you find me sexy and cute?" Jennie winked. "These days, you were touching me a lot. You do that for a reason?" Jennie laughed, joking.
"Careful Unnie, I won't take it as a joke if I were you," Lisa moved her face close to Jennie's. Jennie fidgets but still unmoving. The older girl gulped.
"L-Lisa ssi, I d-don't think-" Jennie turned her face away, overlooking a sad smile that went over Lisa's face for a split second.
"Pfft." She was cut by a snicker from the younger lady, "You're so full of yourself unnie." Lisa laughed harder and went outside, leaving Jennie with her mouth opened wide in embarrassment.
"LISAYA!" Jennie screamed, "Neo michyeoss-eo? (Are you crazy?)"
Jennie followed the younger girl outside. Lisa is now all snugly with Jisoo and Rose watching some Disney movie on the cozy sofa in the living room. Jennie joined them and also watched the show.
