A couple days later...

Adryian sat in the nursery putting up the rest of the gifts from the baby shower with Kasuan. They sat in silence only talking a little to ask where things went and stuff like that. Adryian could tell something was wrong with him. He was barely home after the shooting incident and Adryian felt like that was so selfish because she was really shook up about what happened and needed him. He didn't tell her that Tyriq and his crew were the ones that shot the baby shower and now it was a war going on and he was even more surprised to find out Faith was plotting with Tyriq and she had something to do with it.

" My mom invited us over for dinner next week, I told her we would come. She really likes you " adryian said sitting on the floor folding baby clothes

" Just remind me " he replied hanging things up in the closet

Adryian stopped what she was doing and looked up at him , he felt her staring and turned and looked at her.

" Is everything okay? " she asked " You haven't been home in days, I don't even remember the last time you ate or slept "

" I just got a lot on my mind right now "

" You know you can talk to me-" Adryian said before stopping, she felt a sharp pain down low and placed a hand on her lower stomach as she winced in pain

" You straight ?" Kasuan asked noticing the look of pain on her face

" I'm fine " she replied once the pain went away, it was odd to her and she suddenly got the urge to pee. she slowly stood up and walked to the restroom.

When she returned, Kasuan was almost finished. She stood at the door way " I was saying you can talk to me about anything , don't forget that. I'm here for you. " she said , he walked up to her and she looked up at him " seriously.. don't shut me out "

" I know " he said pulling her in for a hug, he kissed her on her forehead " i just got a lot on my mind right now and I don't want to put any stress on you "

He wanted to go off on her but the last thing she needed was a lecture from him he felt. If she would've never got involved with Tyriq none of the bullshit they went through would be happening. Kasuan knew how Tyriq worked, he was immature and reckless. Adryian felt the pain in her lower stomach again and this time it was even worse. She leaned against the door with one hand and held on to her lower stomach with her other

" I think you need to lay down for the rest of the day, you been on your feet a lot lately " Kasuan said watching her, he thought it was probably just morning sickness or something. He walked her to the bed room and she laid in bed for the rest of the day.

An hour later Kasuan woke her up to let her know he was leaving right quick but he would be right back and she went back to sleep. Around seven in the afternoon , she woke up to the bad stomach pains even worse than before. This time it had her crying in pain. She slowly sat up and walked to the rest room , she stopped at the doorway when another wave of pain came around, she looked down and noticed her grey yoga pants were soaking wet. It was too early for her to be going into labor, she thought her son had just made her pee on herself. Adryian called her mom but she didn't answer so she called keyarri since she knew Jayda was at work and she came in a hurry.

Keyarri had a key to Kasuan's house and rushed into the restroom where she found Adryian on the floor with a look of pain on her face. She was sweating and looked a mess.

" Are you okay ? What's wrong ? What hurts ?" Keyarri asked kneeling next to her

" I think my water broke " adryian said before making a loud noise, signaling she was in pain. She took a deep breath " it feels like pressure, like I need to push "
