90. Hard

Lisa was joyfully playing with Leo, Luca and Lily in her room, admiring the silence throughout their dorms. Lisa was alone for a whole week because Rosé and Jisoo had left to attend a fashion show. While Jennie, was away in Paris for a Chanel event, however she had forgotten to ask when she would be back.

Lisa noticed that the cat bowls were already empty, so Lisa decided to go to the kitchen to get more. As she stood up and went out of her room, she smiled to herself as she noticed her beloved cats were following her. She had also noticed Kuma, Kai and Dalgom's bowls were also empty in the kitchen.

She hummed to herself as she poured food to each of the bowls and giving it to the dogs. As Lisa was grabbing the bag of cat food, she had heard voices outside of the door, making her anxious.

Who would that be? It's already past 9pm!

Wait, what if it's an evil gang and they were ordered by their hideous leader to hold me captive because they are going to take Lily away from me? Because they were watching the vlive...

Lisa looked around quickly and grabbed the first thing she thought would be useful to use as a weapon: a frying pan.

Lisa walked quietly to the door, clutching the frying pan in both of her hands tightly, hearing the voices growing louder as she approached closer to the door.

Lisa shrieked as she heard a sudden noise: Lily purring at her for food.

"No Lily, stay back! I don't want them to capture you! Or otherwise Luca will scratch me to death.. Well, maybe not death, but you know what I mean, right? So, go and hide under my bed!", Lisa ordered the kitten, as if it would listen.

But, Lily just sat there, still purring at Lisa and licking her paw cutely.

Lisa diverted her attention to the door, hearing the sound of keys and the lock being turned.

Why do they have a freaking key!?

Lisa raised the frying pan, ready to attack, as the door opened, revealing

Jennie?

They both screamed as they saw each other, shocking each other.

And stopped as the dogs started barking.

"Why do you have a frying pan Lisa? You really going to attack me? That's a nice way to welcome me back home", Jennie let out.

"W- What? Oh this, of course not, I was just putting it away, after washing the dishes. And welcome home Nini!", Lisa came up with.

Lisa stared at the goddess in front of her and everything slowing down, as Jennie flicked her hair and smiled at Lisa with her ethereal gummy smile.

Why is Jennie so stunning

Lisa opened her mouth in shock, admiring Jennie's beauty that she got to see most days. Lisa observed the dress Jennie was wearing, making her heart race more.

So beautiful!

"So, can you please help me with my luggage Lisayah? I'm already tired and I want to get to bed", Jennie said, breaking Lisa's trance.

"Of course Nini, I will just put this away", Lisa smiled, putting the frying pan away quickly, not noticing that Jennie was smiling to herself and trying to hide her blushing cheeks.

Lisa helped Jennie put away her suitcases in room, while Jennie showered and changed to her pajamas.

After, Lisa picked up where she left before Jennie arrived, pouring cat food on the cat bowls. Lisa was humming to herself and putting the cat bag away, but didn't notice that Jennie was quietly admiring Lisa and smiling to herself yet again.

"Oh Nini, I didn't see you there. Would you like dinner? Or a glass of water?", Lisa offered.

Jennie quietly approached Lisa, making the maknae nervous as Jennie walked closer. Her heart was beating rapidly again.

"I would like a glass of water please. I already had dinner on the plane. Thank you Lisa", Jennie responded, facing Lisa, just a small distance between them.

Jennie quickly crouched down to pet and hug Lily, who was beside Lisa, eating. "O-Okay, I will get it for you", Lisa quickly stated and left Jennie to go get a glass, letting out the breath she didn't know she was holding.

Lisa didn't notice that Jennie was once again glancing at her, smiling to herself while hugging Lily in her arms.

Lisa and Jennie were already both ready for bed and talking in Jennie's room: Lisa was sitting on Jennie's bed, while Jennie was sitting in front of the mirror, putting on her night cream.

"So, how come I didn't know you were coming back today Nini?", Lisa asked while cuddling Leo in her arms.

"Didn't you get my text Lisayah, I texted you before my flight. I didn't expect to fly back until the end of this week", Jennie responded, while glancing at the reflection of Lisa hugging and kissing Leo.

"No, I didn't. I'm sorry, I was busy feeding the pets and forgot to check my phone", Lisa said, looking at Jennie's reflection.

"It's fine", Jennie chuckled.

"So, how was Paris? Did you get us souvenirs?", Lisa jokingly asked.

"Paris was amazing, it really is the city of love! And in fact, I did get you all souvenirs. You really should visit Lisayah. I saw the Eiffel Tower, but I didn't have time to climb and see the wonderful view from above", Jennie sadly said

"Wow, sounds lovely Nini! We could go together in the future and climb the Eiffel Tower together. I promise you", Lisa let out, noticing the rapid beating on her chest once again.

Did I really say that? Wow, take her to a romantic city. Well done Lisa.

Both hearts were beating in sync, but neither of them knew

"Wow, I have already showered, but I still have makeup. This makeup is so hard to remove", Jennie exclaimed, ignoring the feeling in her chest.

"Hard to remove, like my feelings for you", Lisa muttered to herself, not knowing Jennie had just heard what she had said.

"W-What did you say Lisayah?", Jennie asked, turning to face Lisa.

"W-What? Nothing. Look at the time, it's nearly midnight. I'm heading to sleep and you should too Nini", Lisa quickly said, feeling hot in the face.

"Yes, of course, goodnight Lisayah", Jennie stood up, fiddling with her fingers while looking at Lisa.

Lisa approached Jennie, kissing her cheeks softly before facing each other, "Goodnight Nini, sweet dreams".

Lisa left the room, leaving Jennie touching the kiss in her cheek, while going crimson again.

Both hearts, beating rapildy, with the thoughts of each other as they drift off to sleep.
