As we walked into the cafeteria we saw it was full of students eating, talking and hanging out as we found a table to sit down at Edelgard looked like she was embarrassed
"Edelgard is something troubling you?
As I said that she looked at me still looking embarrassed a light blush on her face she scoots near me and side hugs me "w-well I just wanted to hang out with you for a bit....we are always serious about the the battles or supply's...we don't really have time to talk or...g-get closer to e-each other.." I start to blush alittle and clear my throat "s-so nothing about the upcoming mission?.. not that I'm complaining we all have to unwind abit..." as I started saying that I start playing with the ends of my hair Edelgard smiles and looks nervous "s-sorry professor about lying you probably had planning or training or something important to do..." I smile and pat her head she looked embarrassed but smiled she side hugs me again making me feel alittle anxious I timidly side hug her back "t-thank you for spending time with me Professor c-can you do me a favor?"
I look at her and smile "sure what's up?" She looked like she was arguing with herself is it something bad?
Then it happened.... "Can I sleep with you tonight!" My face froze and hers did as well she basically said that out loud I slowly turned my head in shock students around were looking at us "s-sorry I meant c-can we have a sleep over in your room?.." I was still shocked from the previous question the students started talking "misunderstanding!!!" I said to all the students leaving the cafeteria but it was to late we were the only ones in the room "edelgard...next time please choose your words lightly I'm going to have to talk to Seteth to calm everyone now..." edelgard sighs "s-sorry professor I just wanted to hang out with you other than train..." I look at her and smile "it's fine we can have a sleep over tonight but for now I need to go talk to seteth meet me in my room tonight see you then" as Byleth walked out to find seteth edelgard smiled and started hugging herself feeling her heart beat faster "m-maybe I could get a shot..as her girlfriend..." Edelgard then heard footsteps behind her she quickly turned around and saw Dimitri and Claude They smiled at Edelgard Dimitri calmly said "so we are all having a sleep over at the professor's?" "Yup and it's going to be fun! Claude jumped in getting pumped edelgard's heart was sad knowing them they won't give up a chance at Byleth's love "competition us three see who she will like better!" Claude said happily knowing he would win "well that's fair let's do it I won't hold back" Dimitri said wanting this to be fair "fine but I'm going to win no matter what!" Edelgard was mad wanting to only spend time time with Byleth alone they all left to get ready for the night
