After class was done byleth continued grading homework and tests students came to her asking about extra credit so she had to stay after class to help acouple students with the extra credit which kinda sucked for her cause she just wanted to go see jeralt and was getting bored after 2 hours she finally got free from the students and headed to His office "...hey Dad? Can I come in?..." "sure come in I'm with Rhea" as byleth came in she sat down on a chair next to the two "I was just talking to Rhea about us going out on a small trip for bonding since we haven't done that since you were small" Rhea butts in "yea it is fine you guys can have acouple days of bonding we will be letting school out alittle early anyway so you guys are free to go and have fun" as she said that byleth started thinking of what fun things they would do fishing hiking who knows!
As byleth got excited she just noticed "wait school is letting out early? How come?.." Rhea sighs "well we thought summer is around the corner and we had a tough time this school year I thought why not let school out early and let everyone relax" Rhea smiles she was so nice "well that's fantastic we can go spend time together dad!" Byleth hugged Jeralt who looked embarrassed you were hugging him in front of Rhea who just giggled to herself "dad I'm going to get packed this will be a blast!" She ran out the door jeralt smiled "well this will be interesting thanks Rhea" Rhea smiles and bows taking her leave so he can get ready as Rhea turned the corner Bernadette and Edelgard were talking near Jeralts office as they walked off they started whispering to each other "so they are going away for acouple days...this will suck.." Bernadette said sadly "not unless we go with them" edelgard added "w-we can't do that!? It's their time to have fun and spend time together you saw how excited byleth was...." edelgard glared "we can't leave her to be bored with him I'm going if you want to then let's go unless you want me to have fun without you." Bernadette looked hesitant but agreed as they went to go get their stuff ready at that time byleth was in her room with a backpack full of clothes and snacks as she was almost done she heard knocking on her door "come in" she said as she put the last of her clothes in her bag the door opened and she felt a hand on her shoulder "hey you ready kid?" Byleth nodded and turned around jeralt had a backpack on as well he signaled her to follow him as they walked out and she locked her door She heard Seteth speaking "hello I take it you guys are leaving?" Byleth nodded and jeralt sighs "yea we got permission from Rhea did you need anything?." Seteth looked down and sighs "can you guys do me a huge favor?" Byleth agreed right away as jeralt was going to decline wanting to leave already "can you guys take Flayn with you guys? I have to go off somewhere far for acouple days and Flayn can't come with me it will be to dangerous will that be ok?" "Why can't she stay here? Jeralt quickly said "well I dont want Flayn to stay by herself here Boys here will try to get to her and the professor and you jeralt are the best people to have Flayn be with you can protect her while I'm gone" jeralt sighs "did you ask anyone else?" Seteth looked down "I'm afraid to ask Manuela she will be a bad influence and hanneman well...he is kinda creepy and might scare Flayn and Lady Rhea is far to busy to take care of Flayn so please I beg of you" Seteth bows hoping for them to say yes "ok then" Seteth heard byleth say "c-come again?" Seteth said not knowing what she said was right "sure she is my student and I'm pretty sure we won't mind right dad?" Byleth glared at Jeralt he felt startled "s-sure why not." Seteth smiled "thank you and I'll owe you when I come back thank you very much!" Seteth shook byleth and jeralts hand as he went to go get Flayn who was already getting ready "sorry dad I know you wanted it to be just us but I can't turn them down Seteth would be upset and Flayn is my student" jeralt waved his hand "it's fine I was going to say yes anyway I would have felt bad for Seteth and you are a good person kid" he smiles and Flayn was running to them with a backpack on and a book in her hand "thank you so much for having me!" She made it to us and bowed she was a cinnamon roll the sweetest girl and kindest girl "no problem I got a Carriage for us so it won't take us that long to get their" as we followed jeralt to their carriage they put their stuff in the back and got inside the carriage after jeralt told the guy where to go but what they didn't know was Bernadette was in the back with their stuff she had a blanket on her so she wasn't seen by the others....but wait where is edelgard?... as it turns out she was still in her room deciding what to wear and what to bring she was to late as the carriage was gone Heading to their destination
