High up above the clouds,
Stays the moon;
Showering us with lights,
During the darkness of the nights.
It stays there day and night,
Sun over brightens it during the day,
While it shows itself during the night,
With the company of the starlight.
Changing its shape every night,
Guiding us in the darkness with light,
Shining with beauty and pride,
It gives up an adventures ride.
Shining its light at the water surface,
It gives additional beauty to it,
Showing the world that,
The night is as beautiful as the day.
Staying high up in the sky,
It emits a gentle light,
Which gives warmth and assurance,
To living being as the rest.
