SHOUTO
Dabi's words lingered in my mind. I hated that he was right, but he in fact was. This was something that I needed to speak to my husband about. I rose from my spot by the pool and headed back inside toward the guestroom Bakugou and I were sharing.
I arrived at the room and opened the door closing it softly behind me.
Bakugou was lounging on the bed propped up against several pillows. His arms were folded behind his head. He was wearing a black beater and loose gray sweats. A white towel was curled around his neck. His crimson eyes studied me, while his lips pressed into a firm line. His hair was damp and dripping beads of crystal water down his temple, but he didn't seem to notice. His eyes were only for me.
"Where were you? I already put the kids to bed." He asked after a long while. I had taken off my shoes and ran my fingers through my hair loosening the strands to fall over my forehead as I approached the bed.
"With Dabi." I shrugged and began to loosen the tie around my neck.
"Doing?" He prodded. I narrowed my eyes before sighing and looking away.
Tell him now.
"Just talking." I muttered. His crimson gaze turned skeptical.
" 'Bout?" He raised a brow.
This may be your only chance.
I was unbuttoning my shirt and had done three buttons when my hands fell to my sides and I stared at my husband.
"Kirishima." I spoke tightly. My hands were loose by my sides, but I could feel the tension everywhere in my body.
There I said it.
Bakugou sat up his brows raised in surprise though his eyes gave nothing away.
"What about him?" His voice was low, suspicious.
"I don't completely trust him." I admitted.
"Because he's a hero." He concluded though it sounded more like a question.
"No, not really. Heroes aren't that different from villains. Heroes do what they do for power, glory, money, or to prove something. A goal. The same goes for villains. We have goals, something to prove, or a point to make. Some of us are in it for the money, power, or fame. There really isn't much of a difference between the two." I explained.
Bakugou scooted to the edge of the bed. His bare feet touched the floor before my still socked ones.
He reached out and grabbed the end of my tie and jerked his hand so I bent forward. I gasped as I came face to face with him. Our noses barely touched.
"You still think he has feelings for me or something?" He studied my face before his accusing eyes softened and something close to regret shown in them.
"No. You think I still have feelings for him." He tugged on the tie as my eyes darted to the side, forcing me to look at him again."Shouto." His voice was barely audible. I wasn't even sure he had said my name until he chuckled.
"You are a fucking idiot." He shook his head before yanking me close by my tie and crushed his lips against mine.I moaned into the kiss as his tongue darted between my parted lips, entering my mouth. His hand delved into my hair mixing the two colors carelessly as he clutched and tugged on the strands.
His other hand released my tie to snake around my waist and pull me closer. His hand cupped my ass resulting in another lewd sound.
He took my lower lip between his teeth before gently sucking the already swelling skin. I reached out gripping his broad shoulders feeling his muscles tense under my fingers as he lie back onto the bed taking me with him.
