;)

You left the kitchen an hour after your conversation with Steve. His story made you see your problems from a different perspective and made you feel incredibly lucky. You still had your soulmate, even if you haven't met them. And it made you feel hopeful. You kept thinking about all the amazing things you would get to do with your soulmate when you met them: like going to carnivals, watching movies, and learning new things about each other.

What if he doesn't like roller coasters?

You were so caught up in your thoughts that you didn't notice the other person in the hallway.

You ran straight into the persons back, instantly feeling a sort of shock on your forehead. The force causing you both to fall down, you on top of the other person. You rubbed the spot on your forehead where you could still feel the sizzle from electricity.

"What the hell?" they gasped, trying to get you off of them.

Opening your eyes you noticed the familiar black tank top.

"Tony?"

"Don't wear it out," he sighed, still struggling. You realized your situation and quickly scrambled off of him.

"Sorry," you apologized, reaching out a hand to help him up. He placed his hand in yours but you immediately dropped it. "Ow!" you squealed. You grabbed your hand, rubbing the spot where he shocked you yet again.

"What's wrong?" he asked, sounding genuinely concerned. You couldn't help but notice that he sounded scared.

You looked into his eyes, feeling a softness spread from your heart. You saw the wrinkles around his eyes and the coffee cup in his hands. You knew he'd been working all night, yet you couldn't help but think he looked cozy -as if you could just lay with him by a fire with snow falling outside and fall asleep in his arms.

"[Y/N]?"

"What?" you shook your head, getting rid of the thoughts inside your head. What was that?

"I asked if you were okay? After you know, letting me fall on my ass."

"Oh, sorry about that," you apologized once again. "What are you doing up?" you questioned, trying to distract yourself from your wondering mind.

He gazed at you for a second, as if he was questioning you through his eyes. His beautiful hazelnut eyes.

"Just the usual," he shrugged, motioning to the cup.

"Ah, I see. You should probably-"

You stopped.

Through his stained shirt you could see it. The light.

It was like a flip was switched. Memories started rushing through your head -of the news when he was found in the desert, the Iron Man suit, the arc reactor- and they all led back to one thing: your chest.

All you could hear was him calling your name as you ran.

Hi. I know it's been a while and I'm definitely not back but I was bored and decided to check wattpad one last time. I was going to write another a/n about how I was ending the book, but as i was reading the last chapter I decided to write this. I'm not exactly sure why but I did, and it sucks because I haven't written in forever, but here ya go.

But I definitely encourage you to get off the internet. I hadn't been on here in months and Im the happiest I've ever been. Please please please don't use this as an escaped for your problems. It'll just make them worse.

I don't care if you finish my story for me, as long as you credit me and don't copy any of the chapters I've written.

I probably won't be back for a very very long time, so have amazing lives and do the most to make you happy.
