Mal woke up as her head pounded painfully. She only remembered that after Audrey had last spoken, she had shoved Mal straight into the iron-lined wall, and Mal had blacked out instantly. "Up already?" Audrey sneered, her pink head coming into view, and Mal dodged her glove.

Duct tape covered her mouth, and her legs were shackled, as were her handcuffed hands. "Mmphhh! Mmphhh nghhhh hmphhh!" Mal tried to scream, but it came out muffled, and the duct tape ensured that her words were completely intangible. "My dear Dragon, if I were you I'd give up. That duct tape ain't gonna budge anytime." Uma yelled from the driver's seat, and Mal realised she was in the royal limousine.

"You wanna know what we're gonna do? I'll tell you. We're gonna bring you back to Auradon for a trial and an execution." Audrey sneered, before she cackled again. If the situation wasn't this grim, Mal would've rolled her eyes at the failed attempt of a cackle once more.

"We're here." Uma announced grandly, and Audrey took it as a cue to drag Mal out of the limousine, conveniently ripping off the duct tape before she shoved Mal to the floor. The impact as the floor scraped her knees was painful, but definitely better than the iron burns.

"Mal!" There was a huge bellow, and Mal felt herself being swept up into Ben's huge beastly arms, and he forced his lips onto hers in relief that she had returned. But Mal didn't return the kiss. For she knew that Audrey definitely had something in plan for her. The only thing was that she didn't know it was Audrey's plan for her to not kiss back.

"Mal?" Ben's brown eyes suddenly revealed a deep look of hurt and betrayal. "So Audrey was right. You don't love me anymore!" Ben shook his head as he backed away. "No, Ben, I can explain, this isn't what it seems-" Mal told him, but he suddenly turned wild.

His eyes suddenly turned into a charcoal black, and he roared at her, "What isn't as it seems? YOU USING ME AND I PINED FOR YOU LIKE AN IDIOT! I SHOULD'VE NEVER LOVED YOU! I-" "Ben, you- I-" Mal stuttered, unsure of what she should do as tears began to run down her face, but Ben stared at her as he turned to Lumiere coldly, "Her trial begins now."

And he gave her the deepest expression of something he had never shown once in his life.

Hatred.
