"I watch my parents fall out of love with each other,
my mom doesn't hug him anymore, only flashes a small smile ,
and my dad just nods at her quietly in the mornings, and makes one cup of coffee instead of two
as if they're in an agreement that it's ok to not be in love anymore,
both concluding that they just don't belong together,
and I can't help but think ,
is that what happened to us too?"
