(Name) sat in the back of the red corvette, sweat-dropping and face-palming. Why? You'll see why soon. "Gary, Gary, he's our man, if he can't do it, no one can!" Their voices were really starting to get on (Name)'s nerves...

She really wanted to punch each and every cheerleader- and hard. And what she also wanted to do is kick Gary in the balls for somehow convincing her to travel with him again- something she regretted.

It's been about two months since (Name) and Gary starting traveling together once again. (Name) had somehow managed to cope with it- because Gary had actually been considerably nicer to her lately, much to her surprise.

"Gary, can you please tell your fans to shut the freakin' heck up?" she hissed to a gloating Gary. Gary sent her an annoyed look.

"What? Are you jealous that I'm getting so much attention?" he sneered. That sparked an old rivalry between the two. They locked eyes, and they both knew what was coming next.

"Let's battle." The two hadn't battled since that time back at Professor Oak's lab at the beginning of their journey. (Name) took out her trusty Eevee's Pokeball.

"Eevee, I choose you!" she yelled. Eevee came out of the Pokeball and instantly got into battle position. Its fur was smooth, its eyes were shining, and it was well-groomed- all signs of a healthy Pokemon.

"Umbreon, come on out and battle this loser with me," Gary said, smirking. (Name) flushed angrily but kept a straight face. I've got to win this, she thought.

"Eevee, use Quick Attack!" (Name) said. Eevee obeyed and the Quick Attack did about a quarter damage, according to the health monitor on Gary's wrist.

"Umbreon, don't let that Eevee beat you! Dark Pulse, now!" Gary countered quickly. (Name) was ready.

"Eevee, quick, use Dig to dodge Umbreon's Dark Pulse!" She said. Eevee began pawing at the dirt and she sank into the ground just as the Dark Pulse passed over the area it had previously been in.

"Huh. Not bad. You're a worthy rival," Gary said, after Eevee popped up again and hit Umbreon, leaving the health at half its maximum HP. (Name)'s eyes glittered.

"I've been training hard with my Pokemon. You know, while we're walking. Not driving," she pointed out. "Now, Eevee, use Tackle attack."

"Dodge, Umbreon," Gary said simply. Umbreon moved lightning fast to avoid Eevee's Tackle. (Name) raised her eyebrows.

"Not too shabby yourself, I see. Eevee, use Covet." The Covet left Umbreon's HP dangerously low, and Gary gritted his teeth as he realized that Eevee had taken no damage at all- he was losing by a long shot.

"Umbreon, use Aerial Ace." (Name) checked the HP monitor. Aerial Ace was an unavoidable move... Eevee still had half HP left. Gary's Umbreon was obviously stronger than she had expected.

"Eevee, use Agility to build up your speed, then Tackle attack!" Eevee obeyed and the Agility made Eevee faster than Umbreon, allowing it to strike its opponent with a powerful Tackle, making it faint. (Name) tossed Gary an Oran Berry as she went over to Eevee to give it a hug.

"Huh. Nice battle. Glad to see you haven't gotten any weaker since the last time I saw you," Gary said, feeding the berry to Umbreon before returning it to its Pokeball. (Name) sent him a glare.

"What is with your attitude?" she said, annoyed. Gary didn't have a chance to answer. His PokeGear rang and he walked away to answer it so you wouldn't hear his conversation with whoever it was.

(Name) shrugged and headed back to camp. One minute, his fan girls were gossiping and such, and the next moment, they were backing (Name) into some trees. They pinned her there, glaring at her.

"Um, hey, have you ever heard of a personal bubble?" she asked nervously. One growled. It was their leader, Ana (sorry if your name is Ana).

"Hands off our Gary. He's ours and no one else's," she hissed. "We know you like him. But you don't stand a chance with him." (Name) snorted.

"Excuse me, but I would never have any feelings for that arrogant prat," she said airily. But somehow, she felt as if she was lying to her heart... because deep down... well, she'll have to realize those feelings later...

"Well, like we're gonna believe you. Stay away from him or you'll have to face the wrath of my Jigglypuff," Ana snarled. (Name) almost burst out laughing. A Jigglypuff??? Then, she remembered the lecture that Jamie, who was a Pokemon Breeder, had given her... something that all Pokemon can be weak or strong, depending on how the trainer raised it.

"Fine, I'll stay away from him. Far away from him. Because you know what, I'm leaving. I'm tired of this. I'm tired of you telling me to stay away from him. I'm tired of your ugly voices piercing the sky when you guys cheer. I am OUT of here. Gary won't care. He... he's just my childhood rival..."

The sky was dark and stars glittered like jewels. Gary had already went into his tent to sleep- (Name) could tell because she could see an outline of his body sprawled on the floor within the blue fabric...

"Good. Leave, and never come back." His cheerleaders stormed away and (Name) merely looked after them for a bit before heading to her tent and grabbing her stuff to get ready to leave.

She was about to get going when she remembered that Gary didn't know. She better tell him or he'll be shocked tomorrow.

Gary,

I'm going to be leaving your traveling group again. Why? Well, if I tell you the truth, then you won't believe me. But I'll try.

See, your cheerleaders have been harassing me because they think I have a crush on you, which is SO not true. I kind of got tired of it, and I'm sorry, but I have to leave.

I know you're not going to miss me much, so please don't go looking for me, okay? I'm probably gonna go find Ash again. Thanks for letting me travel with you these last few months.

One last thing: Smell ya later.

-(Name)

P.S. Don't miss me too much, 'kay?

(Name) smiled. That was probably the most polite thing she had ever written about Gary. She left the note next to his sleeping bag and gave him one last glance. "Good bye, Gary." She slipped outside, not daring to look back, fearing that a gut feeling would make her want to stay.

She took out her Pidgeot's Pokeball and threw it into the air. "Pidgeot, use Fly." Pidgeot gave her a look that said, Where? (Name) sighed. "Oh, it doesn't matter anymore, Pidgeot. Anywhere but here." Pidgeot gave her a sympathetic look and nodded.

(Name) and Pidgeot flew through the night, and (Name) eventually fell asleep. When she opened her eyes, she realized she wasn't in Kanto anymore... she was in Kalos, otherwise known as the region of love... (Get it? It's based off France)

"It's time to turn over a new leaf," she told Pidgeot. "And forget about everything in the past..."

Dear Diary,

So, guess what? I left Gary's traveling group again. I'm maybe going to travel on my own, or maybe find Ash. We'll see.

I hope this will be a better experience. His cheerleaders were not very pleasant to me- you know what I'm talking about.

More will be coming soon. Good-bye.
