(A/n: Just a slight thing, it's a head cannon of mine that the Doc speaks in Franglish which is a mixture of French and English so just be warned but the way I have formatted the sentences it is pretty easy to understand what he's saying even if you don't speak any of the language, and any of the fully French sentences are either interpreted by you properly or he will repeat the sentence in English)

I walked through the facility, taking in everything. A few of the SCPs walk around freely but are under close supervision. I make brief conversation with several staff members as well as some D class.  I was minding my own business looking through SCP case files for a quick briefing when I was called to watch and record my observations of an SCP-049. I quickly bring up it's files and read through them and also listen to its interviews, as I make my way to its containment chamber. I look at the panel near the door:

Item#: SCP-049
Object Class: Euclid

I Look up to the security guard to tell him I'm ready and to open the door. He gives a quick affirming nod and the panels open just enough for me to get in. Upon entering I am met with a dimly lit, lab complete with a surgical table in the center. I call out a brief hello since no one appears in the room.

"Pourquoi bonjour mademoizelle, comment vas-tu cette belle soirée" a deep scragly voice sounded from behind me.

"Pardon me, my French is quite rusty, I'm doing quite well thanks for asking. That is what you asked correct?" A chuckle sounded behind me yet I still did not turn to look/

"Oui, that is what I a demandé. You are dressed rather strangely for a woman." I assumed he was referring to my lab coat and pants.

"Well yes, I'm a doctor, I have several doctorate degrees in many subjects such as: Biology, Chemistry, Cryptobiology, Physics, Medicinal Studies, Anesthesiology, as well as a few Bachelors in music. I also graduated top of my class in Oxford."

"A woman doctor, how unusual. Well it is a pleasure to meet you, je m'appelle Le Docteur, but you can call me Doc. It is quite refreshing to meet a like minded woman." a rustling of material is heard coming closer before he appears in front of me, Just like in the case file he is dressed like a plague doctor, mask and all but in the faint light i can see bright blue eyes.

"I am Dr. Y/n L/n, and it is a pleasure to meet you as well. Now I've come to ask you a few questions, Doc."

"Ask away mademoizelle."

"I'm fairly new here so please tell me, what exactly do you do?"

"I am a doctor by trade and I seek to rid the world of the Pestilence."

"The Pestilence, forgive me can you explain, I fear that I dont know what you're referring too."

"The Scourge, The Great Dying, the uhh, The Pestilence. It roams freely throughout this facility, I can sense it. So many have befallen it, but I, I am so close to a cure, it is my duty to rid the world of it."

"The Great Dying, do you mean the Plague, that was essentially wiped out in the 1350's."

"I have heard of this "Plague" from another doctor in the past, but I must say I have not encountered it."

"Interesting your appearance resembles that of the doctors of that treated that particular ailment"

"Hmm well I assure you mademoiselle Docteur, I know not of this plague. There is only the Pestilence, of which I will eradicate. Mon cure est la plus efficace."

"Most effective huh, Doctor if you don't mind I would love to observe your work sometime"

"It would be my honour if you were to watch my findings. You seem to be more open about this kind of thing than some of the other Doctors I have met here."

"I shall request to be permanently assigned to your case for study, now Doctor I shall make my leave, have a wonderful rest of your day." I smile slightly at the strange SCP.

"And to you Mademoizelle L/n."

I got up to leave the room, as the door was closing behind me I hear The Doctor say "Dans les bonnes grâces, méfiez-vous de la peste."

Softly behind me I whispered "Merci, je le ferai. Thank you I will."

The Doctors word rang through my head as I made my way to the head office, 'In good grace, beware the plague.' (the french have no word for pestilence it just translates to plague)

*smol time skip cuz I dont wanna write the meeting*

I swiftly bring all of my stuff from my old desk to my new one in the Doctor's observation room, and I set up ready to begin my new life, here at the Foundation.
