The middle aged woman in Steve's art class adored him , and the owner of the coffee shot he'd go to to draw would occasionally " forget " to give him his bill . So life was good . His best friend may be over in the middle east , and he may have spent a night or two in jail because the drunk happened to have a brother who was a cop , but overall , it was good .
So now Steve sat in his favorite coffee shop , working on a project for his class , and jamming out to Benny Goodman , ( which apparently you can do , though it just made the older lady behind him laugh softly . )
