Weeks after the defeat of Xor'oth and the Tainted Coil, Mordecai Riggs is jamming out with his trusty Clementine in his room when his mom Ophelia knocks on the door.

Mordecai: What is it Mom?

Ophelia: You're teacher is here!

Hearing that his teacher was here, Mordecai quickly got his battle vest on and rushed to the living room where he saw his homeroom teacher Aizawa.

Mordecai: How's it going Teach!

Aizawa: I thought I told you to stop calling me that.

Mordecai let out a nervous laugh as he was trying to contain himself. 

Eddie: So what's up Eraser? You don't usually show up in a suit! Did the brass finally make the teachers stop wearing their costumes?

Aizawa: No Riggs. I'm just delivering the announcement to the students.

Ophelia: What kind of news? 

Aizawa: After the villain attack and All Might's retirement, UA decided that it's students would be moving into Dorms.

Hearing that made Ophelia feel uneasy. She didn't like the idea of her son being placed in a Dorm room far away from her.

Ophelia: And why would they be moving into Dorms?

Aizawa: It's for their protection. 

Eddie: I assume there's more to this then you're letting on. 

Aizawa: It's your call. We won't force Mordecai to live in the Dorms if you don't want to. 

Ophelia: Can you give us a minute? 

Aizawa: Of course.

Ophelia then grabbed both Eddie and Mordecai to the kitchen to talk about this in private. 

Eddie: What's wrong?

Ophelia: I don't like the idea of sending our son off like that!

Mordecai: But Mom, it's in UA! It's close! It's not like I'm going to another country or something!

Ophelia: I know, but I can't help but worry. It's your choice. Whatever you decide, we'll support you. 

Mordecai: Then I'm going to the Dorms. Hopefully I'll get to bunk with Kyoka!

As Mordecai smiled a big smile on the thought of sharing a Dorm Room with his girlfriend, Eddie then says something. 

Eddie: You do know they'll be separated by gender right?

Hearing that dropped Mordecai's smile.

Mordecai: Shit......well I still want to live in the Dorms.

As Mordecai said that, Mordecai and his parents went back to the living room to accept the invitation to live in the Dorms. After that, Mordecai calls Jiro and they go to the Dagobah Municipal Beach Bark to watch the sunset and discuss the Dorms.

Mordecai: So we're gonna be living at UA huh?

Jiro: Seems like it. I assume your parents were all right with it?

Mordecai: Dad was cool with it. Mom was kinda hesitant about it. But they were both ultimately supportive of it. What about your folks?

Jiro: They already made the call to let me go live in the Dorms. Though Dad wasn't thrilled with not being able to put on his "concerned parent" act. It was borderline embarrassing. 

Mordecai laughs. Jiro wasn't amused as she elbowed him.

Mordecai: You know something, I remember your old man trying that shtick back in the Internships. You wanna know the best part about this?

Jiro: What?

Mordecai: We get to bunk together!

Jiro: You know they won't let male and female students share a room. Besides, each student gets their own Dorm.

Mordecai: You know if you ever feel lonely, feel scared, feel bored, you can always swing by my Dorm!

Jiro: You're not as smooth as you think you are. 

Mordecai pouts as he crosses his arms. Jiro then pulls Mordecai in for a kiss. After the tender kiss, Mordecai smiles at his girlfriend.

Jiro: I still love you anyway.

Mordecai: You always know how to make me smile, huh Kyoka? 

Mordecai and Jiro take a moment to watch the sunset. Mordecai puts his arm around Jiro while she rests her head on his elbow. 

Mordecai: Hard to believe that this sunset was almost ruined by a bunch of Demon pricks. Makes you appreciate the little things huh?

Jiro: Mordecai Riggs! Did you just make a deep statement?

Mordecai: Oh sue me!

Jiro laughs at her boyfriend's expense. 

Jiro: Hard to believe that I almost drowned in the Sea of Black Tears. I'm surprised I made it.

Mordecai: Hey! I was gonna get you out one way or another! There was no fucking way that anything was going to keep you away from me! I'd break down the doors to Hell to save you.

Jiro: My Hero.

Mordecai: I try. You're my girl! What kind of boyfriend would I be if I bailed on you when you needed me? 

As they continued to watch the sunset, Mordecai and Jiro noticed the time and decided to conclude the date. Mordecai decides to walk Jiro home. 

Mordecai: Guess I'll see you tomorrow then?

Jiro: You bet.

Jiro and Mordecai then kiss. 

Mordecai: I will say this. When we come back, it's going to be a fucking Heavy Metal return!

Jiro smiles as she heads inside her house. Mordecai smiles as he blows his girlfriend a kiss.

Mordecai: Shit she's amazing! 

Mordecai then walks on home. Once he does, he packs up his belongings including all his albums, posters, Clementine, among other things. He would pack them up and send them to his Dorm Room so that he could add some Heavy Metal flair to it. Mordecai went to sleep, more than ready for his Heavy Metal return to UA.
