It started out as a regular Friday afternoon for Class 1-A. Mordecai was hanging out with his girlfriend Jiro at the Dorms. They were having a conversation in which they were in disagreement.

Mordecai: What?! I'd totally beat Shoto in a fight!

Jiro: I love you Mordecai, but there's no way you'd beat Todoroki in a fight. You'd get overwhelmed.

Mordecai: I could totally run circles around his fires! I mean look at how I easily get around Lars's fire and I'm pretty sure they're hotter than Todoroki's by at least a couple of hundred degrees!

Jiro: And his ice?

Mordecai: Then I'll whip out the Spirit of Ormagöden and layeth the smaketh down on him!

Jiro rolled her eyes as Mordecai was starting to sound like a fellow classmate.

Jiro: That's odd. I don't remember talking to Bakugo.

Mordecai: Ha ha. Very funny, Kyoka.

Mordecai and Jiro then made their way to the common area of the UA Dorms when Mordecai received a call from Clive. 

Mordecai: What is it, Clive?

Clive(Phone): Still trying to be a Hero?

Mordecai: If this is some prank call, I'm gonna shove my foot up your ass, you total fucking horndog!

Clive(Phone): Christ, mate! Take it easy! I was only fucking with ya! When did you turn into Lars?! 

Mordecai: Look, I'm about to spend some quality time with my girlfriend. I would like to do so in relative peace. 

Clive(Phone): I just wanted to let you know that band practice is still on for tomorrow. 

Mordecai: Got it. 

Clive(Phone): Is Mina around? 

Mordecai groans as he sees Mina talking with some of the other girls. Mordecai was tempted to hang up, but he'd rather not get a lecture from Clive. 

Mordecai: Hey Mina! Your fucking horndog of a boyfriend wants to talk to you!

Without hesitation, Mina rushed over to Mordecai and snatched his phone. She soon got into another room to speak with Clive in private. 

Mineta: How the hell did someone like Clive get with a hot chick like Mina?!

Mordecai: Hell if I fucking know! He's about as much of a horndog as you, but at least he's better looking! Clive couldn't go ten seconds without trying to fuck some poor girl with questionable character. 

Iida: ARE YOU IMPLYING THAT MINA IS INCOMPETENT ENOUGH TO DECIDE WHO SHE SPENDS HER TIME WITH?! UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR!

Mordecai: I'm not saying that at all! I'm just saying that a sweet girl like Mina could do better than a total horndog like Clive!

Yaoyorozu: You say such...crude things about him yet you're more than happy to have him in your band. 

Mordecai quickly realized that Yaoyorozu put Mordecai on the spot. While it seemed that Mordecai couldn't stand Clive, he was more than fine to be in the same band as him. 

Mordecai: You're really putting me on the spot, are you, Yaomomo? Aw fuck it. Clive's one hell of a singer. Probably the best in our generation. He's got range like a motherfucker. He can sing low like Peter Steele and sing high like Rob Halford. You just don't see that kinda range anymore! That and he's a pretty funny guy from time to time. Guess my only problem with him is that he tends to think with his dick nine times out of ten. I don't know what he thinks in that one time and I'm kinda afraid to find out. 

That unexpected detailed explanation surprised most of Class 1-A. They didn't expect such a detailed response to a simple question. Soon enough, Mina reentered the common area and handed Mordecai his phone. 

Mina: Thanks, Mordecai! Clivey appreciates it! 

Mordecai: Clivey?! You two have fucking nicknames for each other?!

Mina simply lets out a nervous chuckle as she resumed her conversation with the other girls. Mordecai then sat down on a couch along with Jiro. 

Mordecai: Well this is an interesting way to start off the weekend. 

Jiro: Could be worse. 

Meanwhile at the band meeting place, Clive had just hung up the phone. He smirks at Echo and Axel. 

Axel: What are you smiling about? 

Clive: I just scored another romantic getaway with Mina! Today's a good day!

Echo: You know we're supportive of your relationship with Mina, but don't you think you're going a bit overboard?

Clive just snickers. Echo and Axel simply sigh, knowing Clive was preoccupied about his future romantic getaway with Mina. 

Echo: Did you hear from Erik?

Axel: Yeah. He said he needed to replace some strings on his Violin. He wanted to get some stronger strings. 

Echo: Knowing him, he'll probably be in the shop for at least a couple of hours. 

Axel: You're not wrong about that. Erik is very...musically adept. Even Mordecai isn't that into music. Guess that's what you get when you're classically trained. 

Echo: It's no doubt that Erik is among the most proficient musician out of all of us. It's a good thing Mordecai got him in the band. We've really made some ground breaking stuff. 

With that, Echo and Axel began to practice with their instruments while Clive was fantasizing about the night he would have with Mina. Outside the band meeting house, Ink Angel began to use her Quirk form an army of cartoon cats and mice armed with exaggerated weapons including pickaxes, blowtorches and bats. Ink Angel looked upon the houses of that neighborhood with a smile on her face. With a snap of her fingers, her army of ink minions began marching.
