After the meal was finished, Moulay stood, gesturing Linda to come with him outside. She complied, her thoughts filled with free hash browns and anime merch.
"I've been meaning to ask you about my confession earlier," stated Moulay, staring deep into her sparkling eyes as the waves crashed beside them and boats sailed by.
"Ask me what?"
"I'd like for you to know that I was serious, and I truly do love you with all my being.
"Linda, do you love me too?"
"I guess," she replied, her silky hair blowing in the wind, perfectly revealing her dainty facial features.
"Then Linda, will you marry me?"
To this, she was caught by surprise. She then pretended not to hear, turning to look at the seagulls flying by as she unsuccessfully attempted to whistle.
Moulay grabbed her shoulder, forcefully turning her to look in his direction.
"I'll buy you food," he suggested.
Linda looked down, biting her lip.
"I'll buy you anime merch?"
Linda looked up and smiled, having made her decision.
"K."
