Bain

I was in my bed room, Trying to block out my parents fighting but it was to much, I packed my stuff and jumped out my window.

I landed on glass and some of it went into my arm as I fell over when I landed.

I stand up and look down at the bloody glass and try to remember why there was glass here then I remember that My father had broken my window not to long ago and no one cleaned it up because no on really lives around my part of town.

I start runing, I didn't care where I just need to get away from them, then I remembered Bain told me to go to him when they fight.

After an hour of running I found myself at Bain's door, I was starting to really feel the cold weather, I forgot to grab my coat and if I stay out in this cold I will freeze to death.

I knocked on the door and a full grown man opens it
"Hello?" He asks
"H-hi I am Y/N, Bain's friend. My parents were fighting and he said I could come here when they do." I explain
"Of course, Oh! Your hurt. Let me help" He says as I walk in
"Thank you?" I ask
"Bard" He replies with a smile
"Thank you, Bard" I say.

Bard cleans my wound and binds it.

As he finshes it Bain comes home
"Hey Pa, how was your da-" He stopped talking when he saw me, He knew I would never be out at dark so that meant one thing
"They are fighting again, aren't they?" He asks, Tears started to fall from my eyes as I slowly nod
"Bain, can she sleep with you? She seems to trust you" Bard says
"Of course, Pa" He says with a slight smile.

(Time skip)

I was snuggling into Bain's chest as he holds me close be body heat
"Why were you not wearing your coat?" He asks
"I forgot, I was in a rush" I say slightly giggling
"You know I have the biggest crush on you, right?" I ask out of the blue
"W-what? Really?" He asks confused but yet sounding happy
"Yeah" I say
"Well..so do I" He says before Kissing the top of my head.

I was alway so checky so I knew exactly what to do
"Try again" I say
"Pardon?" He asks
"You missed" I say with a smirk
"What do you me-" He was cut off by my lips on his soft ones moving in sync.

We were both run low on air so we pull apart, both panting
"I love you, Y/N" Bain says out of breath
"I love you too, Bain" I say catching my breath
