Marry: I would do the same

We get to the the Queen of the woods, we found a spot to sleep but I am scared, it is pretty but knowing that she can speak to you in your head just unsettles me.

My brother Frodo is on a rock with Sam, Pippin and Marry looking at how pretty it is but I am under the tree roots where we are sleeping trying to get to sleep.

I was try my very hardest to get some sort of sleep but everytime I tried Nightmares came into my head like Gandalf dying and the eye.

I was shaking and was about to start crying when I felt someone pull me close to them, I look up to see Marry
"M-Marry?"
"You were shaking and scared so I wanted to protect you" I blush at his words and hide my face in his chest
"Why couldn't you get to sleep?" He asks
"I-I am having n-nightmares about Gandalf dying and the e-eye" I Sutter out.

He pulls me closer to him if it was even possible
"I would let it get you and for Gandalf he is in a better place, he is watching over us" He says stroking my hair
"Thank you.." I say softly
"No need to thank me, I would protect you with my life. A-Anything for you" He says
"And I would do the same" I say the he grabs my chin gently to makes me look up at him.

When I do I feel soft pair of lips on mine, My eyes go wide with shock but then melt into the kiss and start to kiss back.

We pull away due to the lack of air, we look in eachothers eyes
"I love you Y/N" Marry says
"I love you to Marry" I say with a smile.

He kisses my forehead then I snuggle into his chest while he holds me close, that night we both slept the most peaceful sleep we have had in a while.
