So obviously this book will heavily center around Photoshop. But I know not everyone has access to Photoshop / the funds for it. So an alternative to Photoshop is PHOTOPEA. it's a website that is strikingly similar to Photoshop minus a few features It can open ps files so that's already a huge plus and it's free. I've only used it once and it was a major flop for whatever I was trying to do, I feel like since I'm so used to ps it was a bit of a learning curve for me to figure out photopea but if you've never tried Photoshop this might be easy for you to get. I'm going to work at it so I can post for tutorials for photopea too because again, I know not everyone has access to photoshop and I just want to see everyone winning.
I used to use picsart heavy, I know a lot of wattpadders use it so I might drop a tutorial or two for that. Polarr is an app for filters and it's the ONLY one I recommend, it's free and you can just scan in templates kinda like psd filters for photoshop. There will be links to those I consider are the best free polarr filter maker people aha.
You gotta use this to download templates and psds.
self explanatory but a great font app to download fonts from dafont and use.
++ more to be added. There's a few more free apps I know are used for resources but I don't have them downloaded currently.
