Texas: howdy!
New York: hello, How are you?
Virginia: just say "what's up" back
Alaska: assertive nod. Nod up if you know the person, nod down if it's a stranger.
Arizona: WHAAAZAAAPPP-
New Mexico: holá!
Hawaii: aloha!
Arkansas: guys, it's clearly "sup!"
Kansas: so many people just say "sup" without even knowing what it means.
Pennsylvania: .....Stand Up Paddleboard....

Also if y'all don't mind, could you leave some suggestions for states and what their personalities should be like? Cuz I only know so much about a couple of states.
