I screamed and screamed until my throat felt numb. The air tore my hair, it scratched against my skin scraping of every inch. My hair flew like a mist of tornadoes toying with the wind.
The wind tried to force my eyes closed and my endeavor useless against it. Everything felt like absolutely nothing except my arms around Ethan's waist.
"I swear I'll kill you!" I swore into Ethan's ears mixing with the roar of the wind.
I did not see but rather felt his smile tugging sideways. "It's better than hearing you morning over the stairs!" He shouted, his voice drowning.
It was Ethan's stupid Idea. Indeed very very foolish. I SHOULD NOT HAVE BELIEVED HIM.
I thought he meant elevator when he said flying up but I didn't know he literally meant " flying up ". He called them the Rukins. They looked exactly like eagles except they were much larger in size and definitely strong enough to carry, perhaps till three grown men!
Their wings were enormous with soft silky feathers and it carried us with unbelievable lightning speed.
It was too fast. I felt like I was breaking into a million pieces. Perhaps it was my punishment for all of the things I've done in my life.
The rukin finally landed on the solid ground. Its claws gripped into the marble floor of the tower.
Ethan stepped down and handed me his hand. "Be quick." He shapely pulled me down.
I could feel the thin air around me it was like a fragile glass about break any moment if I breathed out harder. My breath was short and shallow and my heart beat faster.
The sky was the only ceiling above me still a night sky. The sky was dark yet the bright, white moon and the shining stars seemed to light the whole world illuminating the marble floor and low protective walls.
"Why are we here for?"I asked shaking off the dust of my clothes.
"To see the map. How many times do I have to tell you? " He glared.
"And why exactly do we have to come to this tower? It seems to be empty anyway" I glared back into his eyes
He didn't say anything. His brows were arched together and he suddenly grabbed my arms and rushed toward the peripheral of the tower.
"What the f..." I was about to swear until my mouth became a pinko at the scenery that stretched before me.
"Ethan... Oh my Gosh." I lost my words.
Millions and millions of little lights filled the whole scene. Lights of red, green, orange and mostly white shone from house to house. I had never seen anything like this in my life.
They looked like fallen stars from the sky and like pearls deep down the sea. And the light made the scene into a piece of art as if nature had picked up her brush herself to show this billion-dollar art.
"Its easier to show than tell." Said Ethan.
I was still not able to take my eyes off. And I could see what he was talking about. From here I could see everything about this place. I could see how streets were positioned, what was in that street, who was in that street, how many houses where there. Everything.
"You mean this scene is it the map?"I said in awe and admiration still gazing down.
"Yeah, I wanted to tell you that since to be honest our game does not provide you maps on solid paper." He replied.
I raised my eyebrows looking back at him.
"Tradition you could say." He shrugged.
"I was thinking." Ethan rubbed his chin.
