We departed the tower leaving Michael and Amre in the shadows of the night.
Ethan did not wanted to join the white roses and, ofcourse, I could not convince him. I didn't know where is stubborn mind started ended, probably it did not have any starting or finishing point.
But Michael told us we were still in his good terms and that we were always welcomed.
The night air shifted into daylight and warmth as I woke up my few minute nap. The room was small but was just perfect for a few minuite rest as the Game allowed you to rest for an hour the whole day and surprisingly it was sufficient.
I crinkled my eyes at the new sky and as the golden ray of the sun sparkled though the clear windows. Its ray were like a golden touch turning everything into nothing but yellow and gold. The blue couch looked almost pure orange, so did the white walls and the brown table.
I shifted my eyes searching for Ethan. Where was he? I crinkled my eyes again. Probably the light was too bright like a dream.
Then a heard a soft sound of rhythmic breathing next to me on the couch. I turned and found him on rhe other side of the couch, asleep. Asleep like a small puppy.
He was crouched hugging his own legs. For once he seemed like a little boy lost in the magical wood, like a prince which lost his own country. There was something enchanting about it, but there was also something which had melancholy and sadness with something dark yet beautiful.
His dark long lashes quietly rested on his eyes and his hair caught the ray of sunlight and looked lile strands of weaved gold and his face was tinted with warm orange, as the sun kissed him. His chest rose and fell like a chest of a sleeping cat.
His eyes lash fluttered as his beautiful blue eyes came to life.
He crinkled his eyes at me. "Stop staring" he growled as he shifted his body and streaching out his long legs to meet the floor.
"Come on we have no time before the ceremony begins. We have to find out the list who's going to be hosting and handling the ceremony. Probably Tessa will be there." Then he paused. "If we are lucky."Ethan was back from being the magical prince he was. He was better off sleeping, it was much prettier that way, with his mouth soundly closed. This time i growled.
I breath out heavily and shuffled my messy brown hair my eyes dropping onto the floor. " And how are we planing to do that?" I spoke out.
" We need to go and meet the Witch." He said so ominously with calm voice.
I snapped my head to him. Did i hear him right? Were my senses weakning?
"Witch?" I raised my eyebrow at him. "Literally you mean it? Is it metaphorical?" I bombard him with questions.
He got up shaking off dust from his black trousers. " I dont take more question little girl."
This time it's not astonishment which filled
my eyes but rather rage and anger. "I'm. Not.a.girl." I glare at him. "I will slit your throat.""You barely learnt how to use a sword." He laughed.
"Go away you grandma. Take your staff and dont forget to find your missing teeth."
He rolled his eyes. "If you aren't coming with me Im just going by myself." He went towards the door.
I looked at him for a second and paused.
"I hate you." I surged up and shoved the weaponry into my bag and followed him towards the door.............................................
"So whats the plan?" I said, barely keeping up with his long steps.
