Nicki POV
I woke up and my eyes were swollen I had the world's most painful migraine Candi was still sleeping I turned over and closed my eyes I'm so heartbroken I can't believe Meek just left me like that and he was out here saying "I'll take care of you and the kids"
He never cared he just used me I should've listened to my parents
Candice woke up and hugged me tightly
"Don't worry Nic we're all here for you" she said
"It's not the same Candi, Meek should be here it's his responsibility" I cried
"It takes a village to raise a child so it doesn't matter whether he's here or not, we're your family and we're here to help you" she said
"Thank you Candice" I wiped my tears
We pulled away
"So I guess you're not going to school today?"
I nodded
"It's okay I'll make sure I get your work for today okay?"
I nodded
"Thank you so much Candi" I hugged her
"Oh you don't need to thank me, I'll make breakfast for you and leave it in the oven cause I know you still wanna sleep" she said
"Thank you, see you after school" I said as I pulled the covers
I woke up after sometime the house was quiet I guess Candi's mother went to work I took a shower and got dressed my belly keeps getting bigger I went to the kitchen and took out my food outta the oven I ate my food after that I washed my dishes I got my purse and went out to search for Meek I went to their studio and found Jay who should've been at school he looked surprised to see me
"Hey Nicki" he said
"Hi Jay, have you seen Meek?" I asked sitting down
"No"
"Do you know where he is?" I asked
"He went to Hollywood" he said
"So he really left me?" I started crying he came and comforted me
"I'm sorry Nic I called him and told him that shit ain't cool but he said he'll come back for you and the kids" he said rubbing my back
"But why didn't he say goodbye? Where am I supposed to live?" I asked
Jay just comforted me until I had no more tears
After leaving the studio I went back to my parents house I rang the door bell my aunt Miriam opened the door she was happy when she saw me but that quickly changed when she saw my stomach
"Onika? Where have you been?" She asked letting me in
"Are my parents home?" I asked
"No they went grocery shopping but they'll be back soon" she explained
I nodded
"Where have you been? Why are you pregnant?" She asked

"I've been staying at my boyfriend's house" I said
"Is that why you ran away from home? To stay with some stupid boy?"
"No it ain't like that, my parents kicked me out cause they found out I was pregnant" I explained
"Don't lie to me, they told me that you ran away to be with your little boyfriend" she yelled
