Chris POV
I just got a call from the hospital saying that Nicki wasn't feeling well and she collapsed I had to leave the girls all by themselves I rushed to the hospital they showed me where she was, this girl was snoring I shook my head and sat down in front of her
"So you wasn't feeling well or you wanted to sleep? See I told you to take a nap but my superwoman didn't wanna listen" I said
I sat back and waited for her to wake up she finally woke up
"Good morning Dr Maraj" I said
She looked at me and smiled
"What are you doing here?" She asked
"They called me saying that you wasn't feeling well but it turns out you wanted to sleep" I said
She blushed
"No it isn't like that I just remember talking to Florence" she said
"Let's hope Florence was telling you that you need to slow down and stop overworking yourself" I said
She shook her head
A doctor walked in
"Hello, I see the patient is awake" she said
"I'm not a patient Veronica" she said
"Well you're in my ward and sleeping in a hospital bed so you're a patient Tanya" she said
She sighed
"Where are my manners, I'm Veronica Jones I'm a gynaecologist and I'm her friend" she said shaking my hand
"Hello I'm Christopher" I said
"It's good to meet you future brother in law" she said
I laughed
"I'm putting her on bedrest for 2 days, her blood pressure is way too high and that's not good" she said
"I can't be on bedrest Vero I have patients" Nicki complained
"Onika in this part of the hospital I'm the doctor and as your doctor I'm telling you that you need to rest" she said
"Fine" she said
"And I'm running blood tests cause you seem exhausted" she said
"Maybe she'll listen to you" I mumbled
"Okay you're discharged and if she's giving you trouble call me and I'll come over with a belt" she said
"I will"
They discharged Nicki and I took her home
"You better listen to me this time around or I'm throwing you into the pool" I said
She laughed
"I hear you Mr Anderson" she said
"Good girl" I said

When we got home Chloe was happy to see Nicki
"Mama you got shoes?" She asked
"Unfortunately I didn't get to your shoes babygirl I'm not feeling well" Nicki said
She laid on the bed Chloe jumped on the bed and sat next to her
"You want kisses?" She asked
"Yes babygirl"
She kissed Nicki's face
"Mama will get better soon" she said
"Thank you so much Chloe" Nicki said smiling
"Papa must kiss you too" she said
