Nicki POV
I woke up in the middle of the night and Chris wasn't by my side I went to the bathroom and did my business then went downstairs the TV was on and I heard laughter I walked into the living room and found Brooklyn with Chris watching TV
"Hey, why are y'all up at this time of the night?" I asked yawning
"I couldn't sleep so Mr Anderson's keeping me company since you and Ashley were sleeping" she said
"I hope you ain't harassing him" I said sternly
"Oh Nicki you worry too much relax babygirl" she said
Chris laughed
"Brooklyn Maraj please go to bed" I said
"Mr Anderson please talk to her"
"Just listen to her and do as she says, I don't wanna argue with my woman" he said
"Right!" I said
"Oh so this is favouritism, it's cool imma go to sleep but remember that you still owe 2 bombs matter of fact make it 3. Goodnight family" she got up and went upstairs
"Please don't mind my accidental daughter's behavior" I said walking over to him
"She's something else" he laughed
"Let's go back to bed" I said
He picked me up and kissed my cheek I wrapped my legs around his torso he turned off the lights and we went back to bed

I was sitting in my office watching Netflix I had only 2 appointments and they were both in about 2 hours to come I was enjoying my latte there was a knock at the door I sat properly
"Come in" I said
The door opened and
Meek walked in I rolled my eyes
This nigga is stalking me
"What do you want?" I stood up
"I need to talk to you"
"I don't wanna talk to you" I said
"Nic please this is important" he said
"Are you stalking me?" I asked
"No no I'm not I just need 5 minutes of your time" he pleaded
"Talk" I said with an attitude
"I'm sorry for leaving you like that I really wanted to make money and support our kids" he said
"But you never came back for your kids" I said
"I came back a year later and my mom said you left without saying a word" he said
"I left? I left? That woman kicked me out on a cold rainy night" I said
"My mom would never do that" he said
"Really? You still standing up for that wicked witch? You're unbelievable" I said
"Nicki I'm not here to fight I just wanna get to know my children that's all"
"Your children? Where were you when I had to work 2 jobs to feed your children? Where were you when Brooklyn was hospitalized for 2 months? Where were you when I was in ICU and couldn't take care of my kids? Where were you all those years?" I asked
He just looked at me without saying a word
"Exactly, you were busy chasing hoes not thinking about your children, they don't need you in their lives" I said
