The next few days went just the same: Soojin and I barely speaking, Mika, Lin and Leah wondering why we were acting that way and me in my room trying to find a way to apologise without sounding like a complete idiot.
The boys weren't as busy with promotions by that point and we were only a couple of days away from having to record the duets with them. That meant they were intermittently going in and out of our dorm. Still, I just went out of my room to eat because the girls had to control my meals and everything.
Although I was trying my best, I sometimes felt very sick after eating and needed to vomit really badly, but I tried to stop myself to the best of my abilities. Soojin and I's situation, as well as my mental chaos, didn't help at all, so I was having a hard time.
"The boys are ordering takeout for dinner," Mika said after hanging up the phone. "Woojin asked us if we wanted to join them."
We were all somehow in the living room watching the television although the air was beyond tense. It was obvious that things between Soojin and I weren't still okay but we acted civil for the sake of the others. I really knew I had to be the one taking the first step towards reconciliation but I really couldn't find the way.
"Sure," Soojin simply said as she scrolled through Instagram. "Chicken, right?"
"Woojin called. Of course, it's chicken!" Mika said making us all chuckle lightly. "By the way, I will remind you that we are recording the duets with Stray Kids in two days and the duets with Jackson, Wonho, Jeonghan and Kihyun in five days."
"The people that say that the promotions season is the worst don't know a thing," Lin stated. "Preparing for a comeback is much worse! At least during promotions, we get to see and interact with the fans."
"I completely agree with you," Leah said and they fist-bumped. "JYP recording everything also isn't the easiest. He reminds me of Soojin when she had that problem with the haters online."
"Would you please stop bringing that up every two seconds?" Soojin told them.
Leah simply raised her hands in surrender, knowing it wasn't probably the best time to joke around Soojin and I taking into consideration the situation we were in.
"I... I will go to my room now," I said standing up and scratching my nape. "Call me when it's time to go."

At about seven, we all went to the boy's dorm and, since they were so used with us being around them -or, more specifically, the other girls-, the boys were all wearing their pyjamas and were laying down on the couch or the floor while watching the television or scrolling through social media.
"God, Chan! At least put on a t-shirt!" Mika exclaimed when we went inside.
"It's not like you have never seen him like that!" Minho said and she threw a pillow towards him. "What? It's true!"
Obliging Mika's request, Chan left to his room to put on a t-shirt while the rest of the girls and I sat on the empty spots on the floor beside the boys. Since Hyunjin was on the couch, though, he pulled Soojin so she sat on his lap before she could sit on the floor.
"How are you doing with the song?" Leah asked Changbin. "Any troubles?"
"Not really," Changbin told her. "I still need to perfect it a little before we record with JYP himself, but I think I can manage without a problem."
"And you, Minho?" Lin asked him. "I know you aren't really used to that style."
"I still like it, though," he simply answered. "Our duet will be so good that people will end up buying the album just to listen to it. Mark my words!"
"Your ego is really unbelievable!" Chan told him when he came back.
They then all started chatting together and, at some point, past stories between them arose, so I was left out of the conversation and took out my phone to at least make myself busy with something.
"Is that the singer you said you liked?" Jisung suddenly said looking at my screen from above me since he was sitting down on the couch. "Yungblud, was it?"
"Oh, yes. He is," I answered very surprised that he had remembered him. "I checked out the songs you recommended. They are very good, I must say."
"Really? You think so? I thought you wouldn't like them," I said excitedly.
"You need to show me more artists that you listen to. I am curious to know now," he said and sat on the floor beside me.
"He released a song not that long ago with Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Baker called «I think I'm Okay». I really think you should listen to it," I told him.
We then kept talking about music and he talked about the artist he listened to the most so I could check them out. We didn't notice the time quickly passing by as we both were very immersed in the conversation, and an hour flew by in an instant.
"Guys!" Seungmin said tapping my back. "We were asking you if you wanted any special type of chicken."
"I'll just go along with what you want," I said.
"Me too," Jisung said and turned to talk to me again but was interrupted by Chan.
"Guys, what are you talking about that has you both in such trance?" He asked. "You've been talking together for an hour!"
"I don't see how that is a problem," Jisung said shrugging. "We were just discussing music. It turns out that, although we have fairly different music tastes, we agree with what makes a song good and the key elements it needs to have for it to grasp our attention."
"We were discussing if cereal goes first or milk goes first," Minho said. "Stop your 'intellectual conversation' and answer us."
"Of course cereal first!" we both exclaimed at the same time.
"See, Mika?! You are a monster!" Felix exclaimed.
