Aurelia follows Derek after leaving Scott's house whilst Boyd took Erica and Isaac back to the railway depot, glancing around looking for the Kanima with a slightly confused frown. "Where the hell did it go?" She whispers as they slow to a stop.
"You tell me. You're the psychic." Derek retorts.
"Telepath. Different things." Aurelia says impatiently and he rolls his eyes before they share a look, both of them turning around to see the Kanima behind them. "Found it." Aurelia says before Derek roars at it.
She sends it flying backwards with her magic when it runs towards them, watching it slam into the concrete pillar before Derek runs forwards to attack it. "Seems a little counter-intuitive but okay." Aurelia mutters under her breath, watching Derek fight the Kanima, waiting for an opportunity to use her magic without hurting Derek.
"Oh, shit." She mutters under her breath when it knocks Derek down before looking at her. She sends it flying backwards again just before it reaches her, this time through one of the concrete pillars.
"Okay, that's one method." Derek says, getting up next to her.
"What the fuck is that thing made of?" Aurelia asks when the Kanima gets back up, running towards them as Derek grabs something to use as a shield off the floor for the Kanima to scratch at before shoving it backwards.
They both move to follow it before it crawls up the pillar and onto the beams above them. "Have I mentioned recently how much I hate lizards?" Aurelia mutters and Derek rolls his eyes before both of them move to cover their eyes when the Kanima slices through the wires before attacking Derek.
When Derek lands on his back, it turns towards Aurelia before a light floods the area and someone starts shooting at it. She glances over her shoulder, fighting the urge to roll her eyes when she sees Chris standing there. "You're welcome." He says dryly when the witch doesn't speak, and she rolls her eyes.
"Yeah, whatever. I had it." Aurelia responds.
"Was that going to be before or after it killed you?" He asks.
"Well, right this second I'm kind of wishing it had been after." Aurelia retorts before glancing back towards where Derek had landed when the hunter rolls his eyes at her.
"Son of a bitch." She grumbles.
"What?" Chris asks.
"Derek left me here with you, the dick." Aurelia complains and Chris looks around for any sign of the Alpha.
The witch glances around before looking at the Kanima when she realises she could still hear its thoughts before grabbing Chris' arm and pulling him out of the way just before it can attack him. Both of them end up tripping over each other and Aurelia's elbow lands in Chris' stomach. "Ow." He complains.
"Yeah, you're welcome, asshole." She retorts dryly before they look back over at the Kanima to see Gerard just standing opposite it. "What the hell is he doing?" Aurelia whispers, glancing at Chris and he shakes his head briefly before Scott appears, slamming into the Kanima and knocking it backwards.
