When they got down to their science classroom, they were shocked at what they saw. On one of the walls of the classroom was big gothic writing, in what seemed like splatted ink. Students stared at it in fear or curiosity before the class began. It read:
'I'm always watching'.
When the students gathered in the classroom, they were all murmuring and chatting about it, but it was as if the teacher hadn't seen it at all.

"Good morning class. Now what's all the chit chat about, hm? Chill out and quieten down please." The teacher said, looking around. The students were puzzled, and so Taehyung obviously spoke up.
"Sir, with all due respect, but how do you expect us to chill out when there's that on the wall." Taehyung said loudly, and the students hummed in agreement.

"Yeah. Who did that?" Another student piped up. The teacher looked extremely confused.
"What on the wall? I don't see anything." The teacher asked, leaning over to look.
"What is this? Some kind of sick game? I knew this school was weird but that's just creepy." Jungkook muttered.

"I know." Taehyung agreed, but he immediately closed his mouth.
'Did I just... agree with him? No, he's your enemy Taehyung! E-n-e-m-y.' Taehyung thought to himself, giving himself a mental slap. The teacher started to look a little angry.
"Guys, seriously, you're my favourite class. But I can't have you tricking me like this. So stop this nonsense and get out your books." He said in a firm tone.

"Wait, sir, you really can't see it?" One of the girls asked curiously. They started to murmur once more. Their science teacher wouldn't trick them like this, he was the most down-to-earth teacher out of the whole school.
"Maybe he's not lying." Jimin muttered, and Tae nodded.
"This is weird." Taehyung said, staring at the creepy message on the wall.

He couldn't help but wonder if this was related to the creepy caretaker, but whenever they'd try and accuse him of anything, the old and mysterious man would always find a way to make the teachers believe it wasn't him. But now that the teachers couldn't see it, this puzzled them greatly. How would the teachers even have a slight chance of believing them now? It was as if Jungkook read his thoughts.

"Hyung, do you think this could be to do with the caretaker?" Jungkook muttered to Taehyung, who glanced at him and rolled his eyes.
"I don't believe in stupid school rumours. But do what you want to do, I don't care." Taehyung replied coldly, and Jungkook sighed. Jimin then leaned over to Taehyung, smirking.
"Did he just call you hyung?" Jimin whispered, and Tae gritted his teeth and nodded.
"Mmhmm."

Jimin laughed a little, before side glancing at Jungkook.
"Really? I thought you would have beaten him up by now, but you just let him call you that?" Jimin asked, chuckling slightly.
"Cut it off Jimin. Believe me, he'll get what's coming to him eventually." Taehyung defended, and Jimin just shook his head and smiled.

At the end of the lesson, the students were all still worrying about the writing on the wall. Taehyung walked with Jimin for break.
"All our attempts to catch this caretaker dude have failed. But I feel like we really need to sort this out." Jimin said, scratching his head.
"Yeah, no one else can be bothered to do anything about it, even though it's fucked up. Cowards." Taehyung mumbled, and they chuckled.

"Let's go back to the back hall at lunch, I want to see if anything has changed." Jimin said, and Taehyung agreed.
Their lesson after break was Maths. Nothing strange happened, apart from the teacher was called out of the room by other professors multiple times. It seemed strange, yet they thought for nothing of it.

Taehyung sighed loudly and leant back in his chair, putting his feet on his desk.
"So boreeeed." Taehyung groaned, and Jimin threw his pencil at him, laughing.
"Ow! I'll get you for that." He said loudly, and the whole class turned around, the girls giggling. The teacher stood up, frustrated.
"Taehyung and Jimin! If you don't stop, I'll give you both a detention. Taehyung take your dirty feet off of the desk and listen." The teacher said firmly.

Taehyung smirked and placed his feet back on the floor.
"Oh but I am listening sir." He said, acting innocent, and the whole class chuckled a little.
"Oh really? Then what's the answer to question three Taehyung?" The teacher asked, trying to outsmart him. Foolish.
"Question three sir? It's 2156. Am I done here?" Taehyung said smugly, acting cocky, making the class chuckle again.

"No Taehyung, you should have been listening, it's... Oh, perhaps you are right." The teacher said, clearly flustered. They all sniggered, and the teacher demanded for silence. Yet by then, it was already the end of the lesson, and time for lunch. Taehyung and Jimin met up with Yoongi, who had heard about the message on the wall, and wanted in on the investigation.

It was these three who had been trying to find out the mystery about the caretaker (known as Mr Johnson) and room 001, but they hadn't got very far.
"Back hall?" Yoongi asked, slinging his arm over Jimin's shoulder. Jimin smiled to himself and Taehyung rolled his eyes and nodded.
"Yup, lets get to the passage." Taehyung replied.

They would often spend time in the back hall, because there were no corridors leading to it, and only they knew the passage because they had spied on the caretaker one night. The passage began in one of the caretaker's many store cupboards, and they made their way in, being careful to not be seen by any fellow students or teachers. After making their way trough the narrow passage and into the back hall, they were welcomed with the fact that the lights would not turn on.

"Shit, I think the lights are busted." Yoongi scowled, flicking the switch continuously. The back hall had no windows, and so it was almost pitch black.
"That's strange, they're fine everywhere else." Jimin said, shrugging.
"Maybe it's just the lack of maintenance. Let's go check out room 001." Taehyung said, and the others nodded as they walked to the end of the hall, their footsteps echoing along the empty walls.

"Ah I like it back here. No people, and it's dark." Yoongi said, sighing and leaning against the wall across from room 001. Jimin turned to him and raised an eyebrow.
"Now that's a Yoongi thing to say." He laughed, and Yoongi smirked, before following the others over to the door. Taehyung tried the door again, but it was locked.

"Damn, still locked." He muttered, kicking the door in frustration. They suddenly span around when they heard footsteps in the distance. It sounded like they were getting closer. In a moment of panic, all three of them ran into a dark corner, where they could not be seen as they hid behind the locker doors.

"Shit... this is bad." Jimin whispered.
"Shh." Yoongi hissed.
"Can you see who it is Tae? Is it him?" Jimin carried on, whispering almost silently. Taehyung peered from around the door, only to see someone he had not expected to see.
"It's... wait... Jungkook?!"
