Being ambushed by a resurrected sand shinobi was not on the days agenda. Neither was being stopped from getting to the front when the were so, so close. "We need to seal him. Got any ideas?" Sakura tossed the question in Sasuke's direction while dodging a swipe from a well aimed kunai. Well, no one could say this guy didn't earn his shinobi status...
After several seconds of no reaction from Sasuke, she, while keeping watch of the enemy shinobi, looked in his direction. Her eyes widened to see him appear right behind her, chidori passing straight through her stomach and through the resurrected corpse, effectively ending both of them.
Blood dripped from the corner of her mouth- Pain-pain-betrayal-
There was no remorse that she could find in his expression.
She'd make him suffer if she survived this. She'd make him bleed-
"SAKURA!"
The voice, although distant, was definitely Naruto.
She wished she'd get to say goodbye...
But as it was, her eyes closed, and she fell.
