Just as Harry had thought, the training session with Hermione present had gone off without a hitch. The Slytherins had immediately taken to her, making for a very productive session as Harry and Draco now had extra help handling everyone.

After the lesson, they'd all taken to the Common Room where they all hung out, catching up on some of the homework so that they could just relax the next day. Once everyone had finished as much as they could, Harry and Draco made their way to their room, saying goodnight to Blaise and Hermione along the way.

Reaching their room, the pair were surprised when they opened the door to find the room changed. While nothing was taken away, there was now an extra bed, trunk, and desk, presumably meant for Harry.

While the blond simply smiled and continued into the room, he suddenly realized that Harry had not followed. Turning around to face the bespeckled boy, Draco saw him still standing in the doorway.

"What's wrong?" the blond asked, noticing a single tear running down Harry's cheek.

"I just-" he began, "It didn't feel real until I saw my stuff here, is all."

Finally, Harry moved from his spot by the door, only to surprise the other boy with a tight hug.

"As much as I'm going to miss how things used to be with my old Gryffindor friends, I'm still so happy to be able to be here with you. Thank you, Draco. For everything." he mumbled into the blond's neck.

"Anytime, Harry," Draco said, not able to conceal the shiver he got at the feeling of Harry nuzzling and speaking into his sensitive neck, "You've no idea how happy it makes me to have you here with me as well."

Unable to find the proper words, Harry merely pulled the boy even closer to himself in response. Since neither wanted to pull away from the intimate embrace, they simply stayed there. For what felt like hours, yet not nearly long enough, they wrapped tightly around each other in the middle of their shared room.

Eventually, once their feet started to tire, they disentangled themselves, both blushing lightly, smiles wide on their faces. From there, as it had become rather late, they began getting ready for bed.

Despite the fact that Harry now had his wardrobe available to him, he still found himself reaching for the other boy's bedclothes. When the blond said nothing against it, however, he decided not to worry about it. In fact, he managed to catch the satisfied smile the blond sneakily presented, thinking he wouldn't see it. Realizing that Draco seemed to enjoy him wearing the other's clothes, Harry smiled his own smile in satisfaction, vowing to continue doing so.

Soon after, the two boys climbed into bed, quickly falling asleep as they both felt comfortable and safe knowing that it was just the two of them in the room together. To Harry, it felt like no time had passed at all by the time he was being forcefully awoken by a hyped-up Draco.

"Wha-?" Harry mumbled inarticulately quickly checking the time, "What's going on? It's six am, Draco... On a Sunday..."

"We have training to do, Harry. Let's get to it!" the blond said, uncharacteristically serious.

"No? We did training yesterday, Draco..." he replied, rather confused about the situation. Nonetheless, he began getting out of bed as he recognized that Draco obviously seemed to be very serious about the notion of training this early in the morning.

The blond rolled his eyes at the other boy, "Harry, you have the first task of the Tournament happening in less than a month. We are going to practice until I feel like you're well and prepared for it, alright?"

Harry would have complained some more; explained that he was very much ready for the task. However, upon closer inspection of the grey-eyed teen, he realized that the blond actually seemed rather nervous. Harry, not used to people caring so much about him, couldn't find it in himself to argue. Instead, he decided that he would put up with all of the early morning training so long as it meant that Draco wouldn't have to be so worried about him.

"Alright, Draco," he said, immediately noticing a tiny bit of tension releasing itself from the blond's shoulders, "I'll just get dressed real quick and we can go down for breakfast before training, yeah?"

Draco smiled slightly and nodded in acknowledgement, launching Harry into action. Soon enough, the two boys were seated at the nearly empty Great Hall. Only Snape, McGonagall, and Dumbledore seemed to be present, along with about five students who looked as tired as Harry felt: very.

It wasn't long before the two finished the small breakfasts, Harry deciding to forgo his regular tea for a coffee in the hopes of waking himself up. He grimaced through the taste but gulped it down quickly before Draco could drag him to the Room of Requirement.

Once there, the blond put him through his paces: using all of the fire spells that closely mimicked a Dragon's fire breath. Despite Harry being extremely proficient and passing all of the other boy's tests, Draco couldn't help but still be nervous about the first task.

"Draco," Harry started after having been practising with only lunch as a real break, "I think I'm as good as I'm going to get before the tournament, don't you?"

"I just..." the blond sighed, really taking in just how tired the green-eyed boy before him seemed to be, "I just worry, Harry... These spells only mimic the Dragon's fire. So no matter how well you defend against the spells, it doesn't mean it'll work just as well with an actual Dragon."

"I know, Draco," Harry said, "But I'm extremely confident in my abilities on this one, okay?"

He could see the blond struggling to truly believe him, so he crossed the small distance between them in order to wrap his arms around the other boy.

"Everything will be just fine, Dray. Trust me," he whispered, revelling in the feeling of having the other boy so close.

Draco was slightly surprised by the show of tenderness. He immediately accepted the hug, allowing himself to snuggle himself into his friend, tucking his head against the other's collarbone. Whilst there, he took a couple of moments to really think about what Harry had said. While he definitely was still nervous for the newest addition to Slytherin, he did have to admit that Harry had proven himself extremely capable when it came to defending against fire. In the end, it was the use of the new pet name that got him to cave.

"Alright, Harry," he finally responded, "but can we please keep preparing anyway? Just to give me some more peace of mind?"

"Of course, Draco." Harry replied, "Anything."

The blond couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed that the other boy hadn't used the pet name once again. However, that led him to believe that it had been a slip on the raven-haired teen's part, making it even more special to Draco. He just hoped he would get to hear it again sometime soon.
