-Summary!-
Ramona García had worked at the Jet City Cafe. She worked day and night, just trying to make enough to get the bills paid. She didn't mind the work, she actually enjoyed her job when Steve Harrington didn't show up to ruin her day.
She hated the boy, she'd go as far as to say she despised him. Ramona put up with him for one reason, and one reason only. Nancy Wheeler.
Nancy Wheeler was her best friend, and she'd do anything for the girl, and if that meant plastering a fake smile on when she was around with him, so be it. But the moment she left them alone, all bets are off.
Insults, bickering, and even full blown shouting matches was a normal between them, and Ramona believed that wouldn't change.
But when he shows up one night, his cheeks stained with tears and a broken heart, the dynamic between them finally changed. As much as she said she swore up and down that she hated him, her actions said differently. Ramona became determined to fix his broken heart, one rootbeer float at a time.
Who would've known that serving Steve that rootbeer float would not only change both ot their lives, but lead her straight into a secret Russian lab that summer.
