After pulling out of Rhys's grasp I take an angry step forward wanting to tell Liam off and possibly take a swing at him. Only in self defense, I remind myself. I'd rather not get in trouble with the law today because this guy is a cop-caller if I've ever seen one.A large body, the size of my own in fact, steps in front of me and places a firm hand on my chest. "This is not the time nor is this the place." I look into my father's irritated green orbs. "Calm down, Seth."
"Dad, move." I grit out.
"No." He said while I look over his shoulder where they're still arguing. "She's grown. She can handle herself."
"I can handle him just fine."
"I'm thoroughly aware of that, son, but that doesn't mean she'll appreciate it." I look at him. "Let her handle it. This is her workplace and if you make a scene you might cost her her internship."
"Your dad is right, Seth." Rhys walks up beside me.
I let out an agitated sigh saying, "fine," afterward. I turn to Rhys, "can you at least make sure everything's okay?"
"Yeah, I'll go say hey and check up on her." He walks away leaving me with my dad.
"Tell me you're not fooling around with her while she's in a relationship with another man." I don't look at him, I just watch Rhys's back. "Seth, look at me."
I let out an irritated sigh before looking at him. "Dad, we're together."
He looks over his shoulder to where the three of them are. "News flash," he looks back to me, "if she's in a relationship with another man she's not yours. You are the other man, not the main man."
I grit my jaw. "You have no idea what you're talking about."
"Seth, I know exactly what I'm talking about. You can't have a real relationship with Raegan if she's already in one with another man."
I hate how bad his words sting and I really want to tell him to fuck off but he does make a point. Just like Rhys had made a point about Rae still being with Liam.
"She's probably telling him about us right now. That's probably why they're arguing." He cocks an eyebrow in disbelief.
"Hey Seth." Chrissy says as she walks up to us and I'm honestly surprised she'd even say hi considering how I'd ended things with her.
"Hey Chrissy." I give her a small smile.
"And it's Sean, right?" She looks at my dad, batting her eyelashes as she does.
"That's right, sweetheart." She blushes at his flirtatiousness.
Jesus Christ, make it stop.
"So, how do the two of you know each other?" She looks between my dad and I. "Are you like, Seth's older brother?" She aims at my father with a seductive smile, the same smile she'd used on me the night we met.
A cocky grin overtakes my father's face which makes me roll my eyes. "No, Chrissy, this is my dad." Her eyes go wide. "I know, we look a lot alike."
"Oh," she looks over at my dad and he winks at her. He fucking winked. Her face turns cherry red as she says, "I'm just going to uh... I've gotta... I think Mandie is calling me." She turns around and scurries off quickly which makes my dad snort out a laugh.
"I can't believe you just winked at her," I deadpan. "I can't believe you just flirted with a girl half your age." I shake my head at him.
He shrugs. "She's a cutie." He cocks his head to the side, still looking at her. Specifically looking at her rear-end. "With a superb backside. Mm mm mm."
