Marinette POV

Saturday

I met Alya on the subway. "Hey girl, I'm surprised you're not late."

I glared at her, "I'm not always late."

"Ya, ya. Says the girl who runs to class 30 seconds before the bell rings." We step onto the subway.

"I have no clue who you're talking about."

"Hmmm but I do."

"Who?"

"You."

I pouted. "Alyaaaaaa!"

We laughed and stepped off the subway, walking to the mall.

Once we were inside the mall, Alya asked, "What do you want to do?"

"Mmm, what do you want to do?"

"Eat?"

"Sure! It is about lunchtime."

We went to the cafeteria and ordered our food. Once our food came, we started eating.

"Hey, girl! Look it's Adrien and Nino."

"A-Adrien?"

"Ya! Let's call them over."

Alya waved her hands, yelling their name. They looked over and smiled, walking over to our table.

"Hey, dudettes! What are you guys doing here?" Nino asked.

"Just a little Christmas shopping. And you?"

"Same as you, Al."

"Mind if we join you guys?" Adrien said.

"Y-yes!" I mentally facepalmed.

"Oh, then we'll just sit ove-"

"I mean of course you can, Adrien!"

"Thanks, Marinette!"

"So boys, where do you want to go first?"

Adrien shrugged, "I already have my present for the Secret Santa thing, so I would be shopping for you guys."

"Fancy Mr. Agreste. What about you 2?"

"Mmmm, I have to get some fabric and stuff," I said.

Nino nodded, "And I have to get my Secret Santa Present."

"Me too. I want to go to the electronics store."

"Same Al! Let's go!"

Nino and Alya run off in the direction of the electronic store, leaving Adrien and me. How dare they do that!

I coughed awkwardly, "So, um, w-where to go?"

"Well, you said you needed to get some fabric first so let's go."

"O-ok." Adrien and I walk side by side, our shoulders slightly brushing each other. This was making me go crazy!

"Here we are," Adrien said, holding open the door.

"Thanks." I walked in and started walking around. Surveying every piece of fabric and cloth.

Adrien POV

Immediately when we walked in, Marinette started looking at a piece of cloth. I smiled, she seemed like she was in her own little world, even forgetting about me.

I decided not to bother her too much and looked around the store. Fashion had never been super interesting to me, but I did know a lot about it. It's expected from being a designer's son. I could tell some of the cloth were very cheap but sold at a high price. While other accessories seemed more than the value they were sold.

After a while, I saw Marinette at the counter paying.

"Hey, Marinette," I said, tapping on her shoulder.

She jumped a little. "Oh hey, Adrien."

"Sorry, did I scare you?"

"Just a bit," she chuckled, "Sorry for ignoring you."

"Na, it's fine. It was kinda cute seeing you in your little world."

"C-cute? Ya! Um, thanks."

I chuckled and started heading out of the shop with her. "Where do you want to go next?"

"I just chose, so I think you should choose."

"Ok then. Let's go to the... video game store!"

"Great choice!"

In the video game store, they had a sample of games. Marinette and I decided to sit down and play some. We were screaming and yelling.

"TRIPLE SPIN, KICK!"

"OH NO, YOU DIDN'T!"

"YES, I DID!"

People were staring at us weirdly, hopefully no one noticed me as the son of Gabriel Agreste.

"There they are!"

"Finally, they haven't been answering their phones!"

"Adrien! Marinette!" 2 voices yelled.

We quickly paused the game and looked up. Alya and Nino were in front of us with their arms crossed.

Sheepishly, we both said, "Hi."

"Ya hi. You know how worried we were!"

"Ya dude, we couldn't find the 2 of you."

"Hehe, sorry guys," I said, rubbing my neck.

Alya looked at her phone, "Hey girl, we need to go."

"What time is it?"

"See for yourself." She put the phone in Marinette's face.

"Oh my god, we're gonna be late. Thanks, Alya."

Alya laughed, "Well boys, we'll see you guys on Monday. Bye!"

"Bye." Marinette waved. Then, both of them left.

I looked at Nino and shrugged. "Guess we should start leaving too."

"Ya dude."
