A fresh start - Payton

Chap 6

I left Payton's house with a huge smile. I was so happy because my first real day in my new city was incredible. I just arrived in this neighborhood I'm already invited to a party.

I made new friends. Payton and Jackson are very nice even they were weird last night and this morning.

But there is a little problem.. rather a big problem. I started getting feelings for both of them. I know it seems totaly crazy I only got to know them 2 days ago. But I like them a lot. It will be a problem for the future.. A big problem

I came back home and went upstairs in my brother's room. He had a cast, I went on his bed and hugged him. We started to talk about how did it happen. I told him about how was my day and my " feelings " for Payton and Jackson..

In the meantime in Payton's house...
Payton's thoughts :

" Ughh I should call Jackson about today"

I called Jackson but He didn't pick up so i left a message :

"Hi Jackson it's Payton I wanna talk to you so call me as far as possible bye"

30 minutes later the bell rang. It was Jackson. I was surprised to see him I thought that he would call me back but he came. Well it's better.

"Jackson : hi you said that you wanna talk to me?

Payton : yeah that's right come in."

Jackson came and sat on the sofa.

" Jackson: so what ?

Payton : I think we should talk about what happened last night and this morning..

Jackson : yeah you right..

Payton: I just wanna tell you that I'm sorry if I hurt you this morning.. I don't know if you're getting some feelings for mads even if that would be totally crazy but I have something for her too so I don't wanna spoiled our friendship for a girl that we barely know!

Jackson : I totally agree with you.. I can't tell that I don't have anythings for her because because because.. that's life. And I think that you're right we shouldn't spoil our incredible friendship. I won't date her I promise you dude!

Payton: I won't too ! She's just a friend for us and nothing more !

Jackson : yeah that's right!

Payton jokingly : so where's your aunt?!

Jackson laughing : shut up dude

Payton : haha, do you wanna order something

Jackson : are you kidding dude it's only 10:30 and you're already hungry?

Payton : I'm always hungry you should know that lol

Jackson : haha."

(Skip time)

" Payton: dude, I love fast and furious but it's been 3h30 hours that we're watching it and now it's 6pm and I need to refresh my mind. Can we do something else

Jackson: I totally agree! Let's take our skate and skateboard in the street

Payton: great idea, let's eat at Chick-Fil-A

Jackson: you know what? I was expecting you to ask it

Payton : you know me too well dude haha

We went out when we saw Maddison Jackson and I looked at each other. She came to us and said :

" hi guys how was your day?

Me drily: great and yours?

Maddison: nothing special happened so simple.

Jackson drily too : okay we have to go

Madison : okay see you later guy

Both of us: yeah.

We left her quickly and skateboard to the mall.

Maddison POV
Ughh what did I do wrong they were sooo distant with me! I should refresh my mind and go to the city center To eat something.

Jackson and I  arrived at Chick-fil-A. I took a seat while Jackson was ordering. I checked my phone and I was reading the message on the group chat for Saturday's party. I forgot to tell them about Maddison so I sent a message as :

Me: hey guys there's a new girl in my neighborhood so Jackson and I invited her at the party!

Avani🌷: who's that girl?
Me: she's Maddison and she's 15yo
Avani🌷: k.
Jaden: wowow Payton has already found a new girl ?
Jacob: eww Jaden high fives!🤣
Me: shut up guys she's just a friend
Avani🌷: i hope it's true.
Cynthia: hey guys can you summarize I'm too lazy to read
Avani🌷: you didn't miss anything except Payton decided to invited his new neighbor
Chaise H: Avani you forgot to tell that you're jealous too!
Avani🌷: jealous about what ? Payton and I are friends now. I have to go.
Jaden: hmm🤔
Taylor: I don't think so haha
Me: you're getting me mad I have to go.

Payton POV:
Oh shit avani will ask me about Maddison. There's nothing between Mads and I but I'm stressed and I don't know why.

Jackson arrived with our drinks and we started drinking. We talked about the message in the group chat when we saw her...
