"I'd Marry you"

He never thought he'd fall in love with her,

She was a rose and he was gardener sent to cut off her head,

"He did not violate the rule of life", a final breath, a tortured scream,

"Do you think androids have souls?"

Deep in her eyes, fear, determination. He changed.

"If you weren't an android" if they weren't enemies.

"I'd marry you" Poisonous, like Romeo and Juliet.


A.N. This is a kind of a quote/theme poem I wrote incorporating some of the themes and quotes from Philip K Dick's "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" using both Luba Luft and Rachel Rosen as the "She's" in this poem. What do you think?
