"So.. you're telling me.."

"Yes. That's exactly what I'm telling you. I saw him with the guys last night." Your friend sighs dramatically, rolling her eyes as she repeats the same sentence over and over again to you.

"But that's impossible."

"Y/N!!! I'm not lying to you. Why would I lie about that to you?"

"He would tell me if he was back in town.." you mumble softly, playing with the edge of his sweater that you were wearing. "We've been texting all day and he hasn't brought it up—"

"Maybe he's trying to surprise you."

"You would've been in on it, dumbass." You roll your eyes, laying back on your bed. "You're sure it was him—?"

"OH MY GOD YES! HELL, you know what? Fuck this shit." She exclaims. "You've broken it. You made me tell you."

"Tell me what—"

"HE'S HERE AND COMING OVER TO SURPRISE YOU AS WE SPEAK. HAPPY?" She yells, covering her face with her hands and she lets out a large sigh. "If you weren't so pestering about it I wouldn't have told you that. It's your fault."

A twinge of pity fills your veins but gets quickly masked by excitement when you realize what's about to happen.

You were finally getting to see your boyfriend after months of him being away.

You were finally seeing Bradley.

"Oh, I'm so sorry!" You giggle, unable to contain your happiness. "You did so well—"

"Shut up. Don't tell him I told you.." she glares at you, pushing your shoulder lightly. "Pain in the ass."

Half an hour later your doorbell rings and you rush quickly downstairs to answer it.

Throwing open the door, your eyes start to water as you see your boyfriend standing in front of you, bright flowers clutched in his hand with a sheepish expression on his face.

"Hi, my love," he murmurs, opening his arms widely as you cling yourself to him. "I've missed you."

"I've missed you too..." you mumble into his sweater, your voice barely audible with how close you were to his body. "I've missed you so much."
