Yvonne's POV:
*3 weeks later*
I woke up to my phone'a alarm at 6:45. I walked out of my room, and into the kitchen. Gabby and Allison were cooking a variety of things, eggs, bacon, French toast, and waffles. "Good morning," Gabby and Allison said. "Eat quick, we have a long day before the battles ahead of us." Gabby says. "Uhhhh I'm soooo tired!" I say. "Could we pleaseee stop by Starbucks?" I begged. "Eh, ok." Allison replied. Everyone got ready quickly. We headed to Starbucks and we all bought Pumpkin Spice Lattes.
We headed down to where The Voice was filmed. We were like 4 hours early, because they take a ton of time on our makeup, wardrobe, hair, etcetera. Plus we have to practice, and talk with our coach for a little while.
"Girls!" Liam said as he ran over to us, squeezing us into a hug. "You girls were great last time we practiced. I know you'll be even better today. Just a reminder, you will be battling against Patty Thompson, who is pretty good. But I know you girls are gonna beat the crap out of her," Liam explains. "Also, a few of my friends are coming here because I bragged about how good of a group you four are. You should probably get ready now, considering you and Patty are the first act. Good Luck!"
We walk backstage, and run into a girl with short, straight, blonde hair. "Oh we're sorry, we didn't see-"
"You better be sorry. You just stepped on my brand new boots. Do you know how much these are worth? Probably more than any of you can afford." The girl snapped at us.
"Sorry for stepping on your $5 boots, douche bag." I casually said, as we all walked of sassily.

Emmie's POV:
The first thing we hear when we walk on stage is a ton of people cheering. Then the announcer announces Patty, and a familiar girl walks on stage. I try to see her face, but she's looking at the judges, and not facing us. The song begins, and I quickly try to ignore who it is- the girl from backstage.
(Emmie)
She got a body like an hour glass, but I can give it to you all the time
(Yvonne)

(Patty)
