Sophie and Alec finally emerged out of their room once again. At first they went to the Infirmary, however, it was empty. Finally, they made their way back to the main room and standing in front of the first screen when you enter was Clary, Jace and another new person,

"Great," Alec muttered as he grabbed Sophie's hand, he went to walk away but Sophie pushed him towards the group. When they reached them, Alec immediately asked, "What is going on? Why is there a mundane in the Institute?"

Jace sighed, leaning closer to his parabatai and sister, "A Circle member followed him to get to Clary,"

"A Circle rune, just like the guys that took my mother," Clary explained, looking up at Alec,

The mundane looked around at the four of them, wondering if he was going crazy, "What exactly is a Circle member and why are they trying to kill us?"

"All we know is... a long time ago the Circle led a revolt. A lot of Shadowhunters got killed... including our father,"  Sophie explained, glancing up at her brother and wrapping her other hand around his, earning a small smile from Jace,

"And since the revolt we've been forbidden to even hear about the Circle," Alec explained, keeping his face neutral as he squeezed Sophie's hand,

"But, how is that even possible? It's your history," Clary asked, glancing between the three Shadowhunters in front of her,

Jace scoffed, rolling his eyes at the red-head, "Says the girl who didn't know she was a Shadowhunter?"

The three shadowhunters began walking away as Clary spoke up again, "Yeah. Yeah, you're right," Alec, Jace and Sophie slowly turned back around, "And now the only person who knows the truth is missing, so I don't care about your rules or what's forbidden, I'm..."

The three gathered around the desk that Izzy was working on, sliding around the desk to monitor each screen. Clary spoke again once she got close enough, "There's got to be someone out there who can tell us why they've taken my mother,"

"There is," Jace explained, glancing over at the girl and the clueless mundane behind her, he then crossed the room assuming Clary was following as he asked, "You coming?"

"Yeah," Clary quickly answered, following him, however, Simon also followed,

Alec watched the group with his arms crossed. Izzy glanced up at her parabatai before nodding to her brother. They didn't need words, Sophie knew immediatly what she needed to do.
