"What did you do when you left L.A.?" He asked filling the room with noise instead of dead silence. "I went home and spent time with my family." I said plainly.

"No what did you do mentally, like you seem great now?" He asked again, this time moving closer to me as I sat on the edge of the bed.

"I spent a lot of time thinking about how this was all my fault, well deep down I still do," I still had my legs hanging off the side of the bed but I laid backwards and my head firing it's way to his chest, "but I also know that things weren't right from the start."

"What do you mean?" He asked a little quieter and I didn't notice how wonderful this man was until now. "I- well I don't know... he's always been distracted or felt far away." I sighed and I felt him shuffle so I sat up.

He sat up too, "well then I just have to ask you, why were you two even together?" He said with a small chuckle, showing off that famous tooth gap. "I just thought he was the one, it's not like a lot of guys ever showed interest in me, I thought if I wasn't with him I'd be with nobody."

"Oh come on Nora, plenty of guys would've paid to be in his place." He smiled.  "I don't think so... " I said back and looked down. "Hell, I was lucky to get h-" I was cut off by Daniel's lips on mine.

I didn't kiss back, I didn't know what was going on. He pulled away with a sad look on his face. "I'm sorry I jus-" it was my turn to cut him off. I kissed him, this time it was more passionate and it felt like time passed a lot quicker.

I swung my leg over his lap so that I was straddling him and I pulled back. He had this goofy smile on his face, he looked so happy. There's no way I'm making him this happy.

I felt his hands on my hips and I slowly leaned down and kissed him a little slower this time. He firmly wrapped his arms around my waist and rolled over so that he was on top, still not pulling away.

Things got a lot quicker after this, I pulled at the bottom of his shirt and took it off. His hands trailed along my body, taking my shirt off too as I unbuttoned his pants.

I felt him slowly pull away from my lips and kiss from my neck to the lower part of my stomach. He looked up for a second with an unsure expression. "What?" I asked but my voice sounded more like a whisper.

"Do you have condoms?" He asked, still holding on to my hips. "No." I groaned and hit one of my hands down on the mattress. He paused for a second. "I have some in the car give me a second." He rushed to say before jumping up, re-buttoning his pants, throwing on his shirt and running out the door.

Well that's not the way I thought this would go. I slowly sat up and looked down at my still buttoned pants. I jumped up and ran to my closet, grabbed a white lace pair of cheeky underwear that matched perfectly with the bra I was wearing and hurriedly put them on.

I slipped my jeans back on and jumped back on the bed as I heard the front door open. I fluffed up my hair a little bit and I rubbed the smeared lipgloss off my chin as he ran into the room.

As soon as he got close to me I started to fall back into what we were doing before. I wrapped my legs around his waist and he laid us down on the bed like that. He left a hickey on my collarbone and I let out a small moan as I tugged his shirt off again.

He unbuttoned my pants and just paused, "Daniel?" I asked in a quiet voice and he took his hands off my hips but still didn't look up. "I- ugh I don't know Nora." He said as his hands found the same spot on my hips and just slightly ran his finger over the bone.

"What?" I furrowed my eyebrows as I sat up. "Nora whenever.. whenever I'm with a girl I just think of her as just another girl and I know I'll never see her again." He sighed and I sat all the way up.

"So?" I asked, the scene of us two would've been one straight out of a movie, two half naked friends about to have a deep conversation meanwhile they can't keep their hands off each other.

"So, I don't want to just disappear and never see you again." He said but didn't look me in the eyes, he kept his hands on my hips and his head low. "We can worry about this in the morning, let's just have some fun." I whispered and intertwined my fingers with his.

I connected my lips with his and pulled him back on top of me. After a short while we pulled apart, he had this huge smile on his face and as soon a I gave him the tiniest grin he licked his lips and unbuttoned his pants.
