2 What's a song you enjoy? Who is the artist?
My daughter loves watching music videos on you tube and one day a song popped up that caught my attention, I think it's been out for a while but 'You are the reason' by Calum Scott really gives me the feels. Love the music video too! 'Beautiful people' by Ed Sheeran is good too. Also 'Giant' by Calvin Harris and Rag'n bone man, ahhh there's too many!
3 What's your favourite holiday and why?
Christmas for sure. I live in New Zealand so there's only really Christmas and Easter to choose from. But I absolutely love Christmas, my family gets together and we always have a massive feed, usually a big ham roast, lots of seafood and cider. It's also summer here so we sometimes go to the beach or swimming. Nothing quite like a summer Christmas!
4 What's your favourite book?
I enjoy the classics, although there's still plenty I haven't read but I'm a fan of Jane Austen's Persuasion.
5 How would you spend a rainy day?
Snuggled under a blanket either watching a movie or reading. We often have pancakes on rainy days too, I have 3 kids so that's always a hit! Plus NZ rains a lot, lol.
6 What inspired you to write?
After having my first child I really got into reading, I've always enjoyed it but I hadn't done a lot over the years. I like romance and I started thinking of how I would do my own story and sometimes at night when I couldn't sleep I'd think up different stories, each night adding to it until finally I thought, I should really write this down, so I did. Now a couple of years later here I am actually writing stories for people to read.
7 What's the best way to handle a bully?
From personal experience I would just ignore them, confronting them can sometimes work but I guess every situation is different. I don't like to waste my energy on people who are negative and nasty.
8 What is your dream vacation?
Hire a car or campervan with my family, get off the beaten track and visit all the less touristy places in Europe and UK. I love that part of the world with all the different cultures, languages, food and history.
9 How would you celebrate a publishing deal?
Probably have a small party to celebrate with close friends and family and force them all to buy a copy, lol.
10 What is your favourite movie?
Divergent, I love the story line and absolutely love the soundtrack. I read the book after watching it too and really enjoyed that as well. Also Theo James, yes please!
11 If you could hang out with your favourite celeb for a day, who would you choose and what would you do?
Probably Theo James, just so I could watch his lips all day. Jokes, a private tour of London with him as my guide would be fun.

Rough Waves, is my first original story which I'm quite proud of. It's a teen romance with plenty of ups and downs, a little bit of naughtyness and a few moments that should hopefully tug at your heartstrings. It's a little cliche but I like to think it's still fun and enjoyable.
