Sadie-Grace had been declared single for too long by her fellow Mechanics at Red Bull, unbeknownst to her. She was always quiet, kept her head down, and frankly enjoyed the simplicity of single life since she was always on the move.
Max Verstappen had just gotten out of a relationship and needed someone to fulfil his needs. Usually, he would just head out and find a random woman, however the Mechanics had another idea.
"Verstappen, we dare you to ask Sadie out"
"What? That Sadie? No way; I need someone easy"
"Didn't think you were one to back away from a challenge..."
"Well, I-"
"Double dare"
"Urgh, fine, but you guys are dealing with the consequences when she falls in love with me"
*note that this plot can also be interpreted in reverse, with the mc being dared if a more shy driver is used*

a little bit of insight...
this is more of a plot prompt than anything as i didn't get far with this idea. i have a plan of how things would inevitably play out but i think that's quite a common thought.
