SHE IS INCOMPLETE

there  is a girl In my church
Who has just turned eighteen
Ever since she was young
It was always her dream
To be a God fearing woman
Intimidated by no man
To have loving best friends
For the rest of her life
But as she grew up
Her friends all grew cold
She even twisted her life
Just to fit in their mould
Her greatest fear
Was to feel reject
She could do anything
To feel loved and accepted
She posts her photos in Instagram
Hoping that now
Her body will attract
What the heart can't somehow
She slowly turned herself
Into something she is not
Desperate for someone
To think she's hot
The love she's craving
Has never come through
The dreams she once held
Has never come true
If you ask how she is
She'll say she's fine
Disguises it very well
But she's dying inside
She tries parties and drinking
Just a little for a start
Anything to fill
The bighole in her heart
She sleeps around
Hoping that love will be found
Her heart lies empty
On the sorrows she's drowned
Puts on make-up
To hide her real self
Cause she knows
Deep inside She's incomplete
On the other side she'll build
So that her life seems filled
But deep inside she bleeds
But deep inside she's incomplete©brassy
