(Y/N) heaved a huge breathe of relief right after she pulled the door shut as fast as she could without breaking it with a loud slam. It had felt that all of a sudden the room had gotten impeccably cold. That didn't sit well with her at all. The rooms in the pizzeria were always the same temperature, and it seemed to stay strictly that way. She'll make sure not to go in there alone next time. She's not stupid enough to try and find out whatever the hell had just happened.
She turned around from her stiff position in front of the door, and saw the animatronics looking at her questionably. She smiled at them though it probably didn't hide the apprehension in her eyes. The animatronics looked skeptical, but said nothing about it and seemingly left it alone. She was thankful for it. She wouldn't know how to handle their questions. For all she knew, they would probably think she went crazy.
"Hey, guys. I got the tools." she told them as cheerfully as she could, attempting to break the ice from what had just happened. Perhaps the whole thing was a small trick of her eyes. Even if she wasn't hallucinating, she didn't want to unsettle herself further trying to figure it out.
"Great. Now, who's getting the check up first?" Freddy asked, looking around for volunteers. Unsurprisingly, Bonnie was the first to raise his hand.
"Oh, oh! I wanna go first!" Bonnie yelled, waving his arm around frantically like a child who wanted to be picked as a volunteer at a magic show. (Y/N) giggled, and raised a hand to cover her smile while Freddy facepalmed.
"Step right up, bunny boy. It's your lucky day." (Y/N) 'announced' jokingly. He grinned, and practically skipped over to her place near the stage.
Once he was close enough, he immediately swung his arm around her shoulders. She stumbled a bit from the sudden force of his arm pulling her to him, but eventually caught herself by holding onto the same hand he had wrapped around her. He looked down at her from his height, and grinned when he saw her smaller, daintier hand holding his. He opened his mouth, presumably about to say something, but Chica beat him to it with a sound akin to a huff accompanied by the sound of her metallic foot stomping on the tile floor.
"It's not fair! I wanna be first to get fixed up." Chica pouted as she crossed her arms to her chest. (Y/N) looked back and forth between the two of them, trying to find a way to resolve the situation.
"Chica, I think it would be better if you would be last.", Bonnie smirked triumphantly while Chica visibly deflated, "We could spend much more time with each other that way." (Y/N) finished. Immediately, she noticed Bonnie's head snap towards her with an almost betrayed expression on his face. She only casually shrugged her shoulders as if she was saying 'what did you expect me to do?'. Chica, on the other hand, was cheering over the fact that the odds had been in her favor.
"Why don't you hang out with Freddy? I have to check up on this bunny right here. We'll have plenty of time to talk later." (Y/N) said as she smiled up at the taller, robotic female. Chica only grinned wordlessly, and skipped away towards Freddy to start a conversation. She heard a 'hmph' come from above her and looked up to see Bonnie's pouting face.
"What did you expect me to do? I haven't spent that much time with her yet, and I want to get to know her!" (Y/N) told him, amusement in her voice.
"Yeah, but I would've appreciated it more if you didn't let her replace me as your best friend in this establishment." Bonnie said childishly.
She didn't really think of it that way especially since she had known them for only about 2 days. She stared at him for a moment as she was trying to figure out what she wanted to make of this situation. Eventually, she let out an amused breath and smiled. How could she deny him? He had barely anyone, excluding the gang, but children to accompany him, so what was the harm in her being added to the mix?
