Holding back my tears,
For our one last hug,
I close my eyes in fears,
All my worries I drag.
Afraid I'll be alone at night,
One more hug before we part,
One last time to hold you tight,
One last time to feel your heart.
If only I have a magic wand,
I will that time be stretched,
Or simply to freeze the seconds,
So in my mind forever be etched.
Let go and wave goodbye,
While forcing out a smile,
Lets out one sorrowful sigh,
As you fade with every mile.
I fall into my knees,
As tears starts to flow,
Heavy sob will never ease,
The burden of letting go.
