When you bring a flower,
To a love entombed,
It matters not the hour,
For a longing resumed. When you set a candle lit,
It matters not your name,
For in your grief you sit,
And gaze upon the lonely flame. When you kneel and pray,
To an image frozen still,
It matters not what you say,
An emptiness, nothing can fill.Grief is a sickness of heart
It matters not who you are,
Longing is the saddest part,
As it is a painful scar. When you say goodbye,
To a love lost forever,
It matters not if you cry,
To move on is an endeavor.
