"What do you mean shes gone?" I say choking on my tears.
"Wait you mean she didn't tell you?" He ask, looking worried.
No..
"Lexi commited suicide last night" he whispered.
I suddenly felt like I couldn't breathe. I collaspe to the floor screaming, tears pouring out of my eyes. Lexi was my friend. The person who was there for me when no one else was.
"Oh my god, is Billie ok?" Billie was Lexi's girlfriend. Before he could say anything Billie starts to make her way over. Her eyes blood-shot red.
I pull her into a hug. We both stand there crying for which felt like hours.
"im so sorry" I choke out
"How can I keep breathing knowing she is dead, Millie Im trying so hard but what if it was my fault? What if I was the reason?" Billie says through tears.
"NO" I shout not caring if people are listening. "I love you Billie and I need you to stay here with me on Earth, are you listening?" I say practically shaking her.
"ok.." she mutters under her breath.
