"Did you study?"

"Hell no. I got other worries then memorizing chemical formulas."

"Sure you do."

"Give me a break!"

Jeongin turned his head away from the pair of students he was eavesdropping on, shaking his head slightly in disappointment. He shouldn't of been listening to them but he couldn't help it when they were being so rowdy over an upcoming quiz in chemistry. He was almost positive that the principal could hear them from the first floor.

"Hey, Jeongin, did you study?" One of the students that was talking called over to him, nudging his shoulder in the meantime to get his attention away from the phone in his hands.

The boy looked up at them with a grin, pulling out one of the earphones lodged into his ear. He recognized these two as members of the basketball team, remembering one as a bench warmer at the last game he was forced to attend. Jeongin turned his phone off and replied, knowing full well what the two had been discussing with each other prior to getting his attention, "Of course! Was there any questions on the study guide that confused you? I could help you before the lunch bell rings."

"Neither of us studied at all last night. We don't even know where to start. You know how Mr. Kim's tests are," The other students smiled back sheepishly. He and his friend grabbed an empty chair and dragged it to the opposite side of Jeongin's desk, starting to remove their notebooks from their bags as they began to look more relieved then stressed out. They were probably happy they could get help, no matter where that help had come from.

"That's perfectly fine! We'll just cover some important formulas quickly so you have at least something fresh in your mind."

One of the students clapped his hands together like he was praying, "Thank you so much. You're way too kind."

"I'm happy to help," Jeongin grinned at the gesture, yanking his own books out of his bag to help the two. He glanced at the clock in the front of the room. There was still thirty, give or take, minutes left before the bell to signal lunch ending rings, meaning they could fly through the study guide given last week fairly easily as long as the students stayed on task. With that, the model student drilled his classmates on the material for the remainder of lunch.

When the bell rang, signalling the end of the day, students around him in the classroom began packing up their belongings while one stayed behind for detention as they napped on their desk. Jeongin couldn't help but frown at him while he shoved his own textbook into his back and left class after popping an earbud in. Maybe he was going crazy, or becoming too self-centered, but he could have sworn that the student who was there for detention was glaring at him from underneath the mop of dyed navy blue hair. It made him shake as he left the room, stepping quicker then before into the hallway.

He bounced to his locker in the middle of the crowded hall, seeing two familiar sets of eyes watching his every move as he came closer to his destination. One of them waved cheerfully at him, the other simply beaming in a way that hold him to hurry up before he gets left behind at school again. Jeongin couldn't help but let out a breathy laugh at them as be neared to his locker, weaving through the sea of students to reach his friends. When he neared them, he outstretched a hand to them past the other students. It was grabbed, the next moment Jeongin was being yanked to the safety of the lockers.

He shivered, eyes playfully going wide as he shot them a grin, "I was almost swept away."

"Good riddance," Felix snickered. He let go of the younger's hand to lean up against the locker row, scooting when the owner of the locker he was covering came to shove him over and moving back once she was done. With a flick of his wrist he laughed, "And when he's gone, I'll have the student body all to myself."
