Quick overview. It's been 10 years since Andi's party (so around the ages of 24-26) and many of the characters haven't talked in a while. but tj needs some help.

TJ was scrolling through his contact list, trying to find one of his oldest friend's number.

TJ: hey
Buffy: TJ Kippen?! Omg it's been forever! What's up
TJ: I need help with something... for Cyrus. Could you get in contact with the others?
Buffy: I mean- yeah. Sure
TJ: thank you so much
Buffy: (:

TJ waited for Buffy at the diner, The Spoon, and went over the plan. "So," Buffy starts, "what exactly am I needed for? You said it's for Cyrus?" She asks. TJ nods his head.

He reaches into his hoodie pocket and pulls out a little black box. Buffy stared at the box, jaw hanging slightly open. he looks into buffy's expression. "oh no, you don't think it's a good idea. ugh! i knew this was a bad idea!"

"no no no no!! i'm just- wow. you're gonna propose to cyrus! it's a great idea. but why do you need help?" buffy asks, "are you planning on making this a big thing?"
"that's what i need help with. i don't know what to do. i've had a few up's and down's with cyrus. remember that time in junior year when he broke up with me because i got drunk at a party?!" tj says. buffy rolls her eyes, "because you were supposed to be his driver! you know that cyrus is terrified of driving!"

"besides the point; we've been through a lot together and we are really happy right now. we already live together and have steady jobs. i just want to spend every minute of every second with him. i love him. a lot. i want this proposal to be special, so he can remember it and we can tell our kids about what a hopeless romantic i am." you can see that his face had gone red, that always happened when he talked about cyrus.

"okay, well i think proposing in general
shouldn't be a huge thing. i say make a fun date with a few special places and then maybe over dinner you pop the question!" buffy suggests, "or not. i'm sure whatever it is you plan on doing, it'll be special and cyrus will really appreciate it."

  the two continue to ramble on ideas and share a basket of baby taters. "wait- that idea is amazing!"

back at the apartment, TJ starts going through his high school yearbook and writes down a list of all their friends.

TJ: it's me and cyrus, you dumbie. i've told you this a thousand times🙄

jonah: w o a h you're proposing to cyrus?!?! why??????

TJ: jonah wtf?? ummmm maybe because i love him and i feel its time we get married?? anygays i need help finding a place to eat.

andi: omg heyyyyyyyyyyy !!!! cece and her wife are on vacation so maybe you could have dinner at their house because they have that really nice dinging room!

marty: cece has a wife??

andi: you were literally at the wedding as buffy's plus one.
